Even the unknown planets need love [Mission]

Unknown Planet
Outer Rim
It had certainly been some time since the Silver Jedi had come knocking on his door and assigning him on mission, but Josh didn't mind having something new to do. He had been sent off to a planet on the outer rim, who's name escaped him, and also because the writer doesn't feel like looking at the map and having to deal with idiots should someone whine about him doing something on "their" planet.

Regardless, a town on a planet who's name escaped him was being harrassed by a gang, and it had gone to uncondone-able levels. People being kidnapped in the night, assaults in broad daylight, hostage situations, muggings... It had to stop. And Josh was fine with stopping all that.

He'd been paired up with a Padawan who he'd never met before. And hadn't even talked to, as their shuttle rocketed toward the planet. Josh was meditating in the holding area, mentally preparing for what was to come...

The time had come for his first real mission for the order. Najeke had been assigned to work alongside a jedi he had never met before, in order to deal with occurrences that would bring harm to citizens under Silver Jedi protection. While he did know they were headed towards the Outer RIm, he knew not upon what planet they would land; that information didn't come in his brief. And the man who was supposed to know, did not seem like much of a talker. Never the less, Najeke would follow the example of his senior and meditate until their arrival on this unknown planet. When they did land, Najeke would stop his meditation and await instruction from the senior jedi on this mission.

Josh hadn't met this kid himself, really. Never even heard of him. But perhaps he could learn something while paired with the Jedi Master, perhaps that was why the Jedi had paired them together. Josh just hoped he didn't have to carry him. Oh well. Whatever the situation, people under the Silver Jedi's protection were coming under fire, so even if his partner was a bit inexperienced, perhaps some good could come out of this if the kid learned something during this trip. But it wouldn't stop Josh from doing his job.

As the planet came into sight, the Jedi Master would slowly open his eyes, letting out a calm exhale... And then turning to the Padawan next to him.

"Ever done this before, kid?"

"No." Najeke would bluntly reply to the masters question. He knew not what else to say, so said no more than that; as anything more spoken would be wasted information irreverent to the question. He did however have questions. He knew that they were here to protect and serve those under the protection of the order, he had yet to find out what exactly he would be assisting in protection from. "I would like to inquire though, what the issue is that we were sent to deal with?" The padawan would ask the question directly, carefully deciding what words to use in what order as on occasion he had trouble speaking to new people; and that would be an unfortunate way to start his first mission.

Well, that wasn't comforting. He sure hoped this mission was easy enough that this kid wouldn't die on it. But he knew it wouldn't be easy if they had gone to the trouble of sending a Jedi Master as well. What concerned him even more was that the kid hadn't even been briefed properly. Josh let out a sigh. What in the world were the Silvers even thinking?

"There's a gang growing in scale that's terrorizing a village" He spoke calmly, taking a breath. "Kidnappings, assaults and muggings in the streets, random killings and break-ins... You name it. We're being sent down to stop them. I'll admit... This is rather dangerous for someone new, but I suppose we all have to start somewhere."
