Description: Don't you fancy the idea of being constantly protected, every hour of every single day? Are you an important person who's tired of incompetent bodyguards who require food, sleep, and potentially have lapses of judgement or lose focus during their mission? If you've answered yes to any of these, Sunwing Defense Fabrication has taken the opportunity to rectify the above issues with a single product: The Eternity Droid Guardian System.

These pair of little droids are testaments to the old saying, "Great things come in small packages." Sunwing Defense has produced these droids with the purpose of eternal personal defense. Each unit is 15cm tall, sports a single internal blaster pistol, and full spectrum sensors and programming to ensure each buyer is never without protection. These little droids fit perfectly in a small, rugged pouch that can be fitted to a belt or any external garments with ease.

One droid could be kept in the pouch's recharging unit while the other unit served as a bodyguard for up to 12 standard hours before trading places with the freshly charged droid, ensuring that the owner was never without the droid's protection. If necessary, both droids could be activated at the same time.

Each unit is outfitted with limited, but ample weaponry and equipment to protect its owner. But even more so than the weaponry, it is the programming that makes this system such a success. The miniature droid brains that these two sport are outfitted with advanced processors. This allows both droids enough intelligence to carry out its task of personal defense with great vigilance and skill. They are not known to stray away from their charge and respond to both verbal commands or commands inserted into the included command remote, and can even be remotely controlled.

All in all, the Eternity Droid Guardian System is an effective, fiscally sound, and eternally satisfying investment to any buyer. Simple in purpose, albeit small in size, it packs a punch so you don't have to.

Strengths:
  • [+] Constant: Every owner will never be without the protection of this system while it's equipped. Every hour of every day, they will be under the constant protection of at least one unit. With this in mind, their vigilance is astounding.
  • [+] Advanced Processor: Each droid is quite intelligent for its size. They know when to act aggressively, sound their alarms, and are even programmed to take a blaster bolt for their owner. They'll never behave erratically, they won't take your mother as a threat when she goes to pinch your cheek, and are as faithful as any droid can be.
  • [+] Rugged: In rain, wind, or even snow, these little bots prevail. They're built to last in most temperate conditions and don't require a heap of maintenance to keep them in working condition.
Weaknesses:
  • [-] One Purpose: They cannot be ordered to outflank the enemy, fetch your newspaper, or clean up messes. Their singular purpose is to hover about and ensure your safety.
  • [-] Lightly Armored: Armed with only a single blaster pistol and protected by barely centimeters of plasteel plating, it doesn't take much to drop one of these droids for good. Even swatting it out of the air with sufficient force is enough to severely damage it. It's suffice to say a single stray slug or blaster bolt will definitely take it out of action for good.
  • [-] EMP/Ion Weaponry: Pretty self-explanatory. Due to production costs, Sunwing was unable to integrate any defense against EMPs or ionic charges, so it makes these bots very susceptible to these forms of weaponry.
Potential In-Universe Cost: 3,000 Credits
