Public Escape from the Resistance (Open RP)

In the empty void of space, a star shines, and grows bigger and bigger until a Star Destroyer emerges, alarms sounding. It appears to be damaged; panels are missing in places, smoke billows out in other places.
In the bridge, officers and technicians rush to attend to things. A dark skinned man stands amidst the chaos. "Lieutenant, status report." He barks. A man in a blue uniform rushes up beside him and explains the situation. "We've taken a major hit to sub engines 4 and 6, our Hyperdrive is damaged, but can be repaired. The fighter hangar is currently undergoing repairs, and other than that, the damage that the Oblivion has sustained is minor." The lieutenant says. The man nods and turns around to face the chaos. "Contact the remaining fleet. It is vital that we regroup as soon as possible." He says.

FINAL DAWN
OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

The Outer Rim. Once a bastion of order and stability under the First Order , Outer Planets Alliance and Confederacy of Independent Systems, now a lawless area filled with rogue warlords, criminal organizations, sith cults, regional inter-galactic governments and paramilitary groups, all seeking to fill the void left behind by these now defunct Galactic Powers seeking for their piece of the pie and for control over the various valuable worlds such as Sluis Van and Eriadu that we're now ripe for the taking. One of these factions was the Final Dawn, a Neo-Imperialist Junta operating from the Unknown Regions which had begun to establish footholds in the region centered around the Worlds of Eriadu, Utapau and Kal'Shebbol.

Near the former territories of the First Order in the Southwestern Outer Rim a Invector-Class Monitor Frigate known as the FDS Navigator was conducting a routine patrol in the region, when it began suddenly getting readings of a ship coming out of hyperspace. Soon enough, a large Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer emerged from hyperspace, arriving in view of of the
Navigator. The Ship seemed to have come straight out of a major battle as shown with the damage it had suffered, a fact that had intrigued the captain of the Navigator who immediately sent a transmission to the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer to see clarity on the matter

"Unidentified Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, this is the FDS Navigator of the Final Dawn Armada. Please identify yourself and state your intentions." the Captain said awaiting a response from his counterpart from the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer.

The lieutenant shouted across the bridge. "Sir! Incoming transmission!" Cristan frowned. "Patch it through."
The message played: the ship identified as the FSD Navigator. "FSD Navigator, this is Admiral Cristan Dins of the Star destroyer Oblivion. We are in need of repairs and assistance. Transmitting codes now." He said, loud and clear amidst the chaos.

"FSD Navigator, this is Admiral Cristan Dins of the Star destroyer Oblivion. We are in need of repairs and assistance. Transmitting codes now." He said, loud and clear amidst the chaos."
"Sir, the Star Destroyer, identifying itself as the Oblivion is requesting for repairs and assistance. Orders?" an Officer said upon hearing the transmission. The Captain of the Navigator was quite surprised about this new development but nevertheless knew that this could work to the Final Dawn's advantage. Thus the Captain sent another message back the Oblivion. "Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer Oblivion, this is the FDS Navigator is your Hyperdrive still operational?" the Captain said. Perhaps they could bring the Oblivion back to Kal'Shebbol or Utapau and perhaps learn more about the First Order from this Admiral Cristan Dins and it's current state, perhaps they could even recruit him into the Final Dawn. The possibilities were endless and only a fool would be stupid enough to ignore such opportunities.

The Lieutenant patched through the message that was sent from the freighter. The admiral replied. "Our Hyperdrive was good for one last jump, and we ended up here in an unknown system. It is damaged, yes, but can be repaired." He said. The admiral signaled to stop transmission. "Put the forward turbolasers at the ready in case they try to attack us." He said. Cristan was a very careful man, and he planned for every occasion.

"Our Hyperdrive was good for one last jump, and we ended up here in an unknown system. It is damaged, yes, but can be repaired."
"Very well then, we can send a team of Technicians and Engineers to assist in repairs as soon as possible if you require one." the Captain of the Navigator said in response. "Sir, they are readying their forward Turbolasers. Orders?" one of the Officers said upon noticing the Oblivion latest move. "A precautionary move. Perhaps they still don't trust us. Nevertheless do not open fire. We do not wish to start a pointless skirmish." the Captain said in response. Soon enough a team of Technicians and Engineers were soon gathered in the Hangars soon boarding two FD-874/3.0 Troop Transports along with a small force of Final Dawn Sith Troopers just in case things went wrong. All the Captain needed now was confirmation from the Oblivion that they were free to bring their Team of Technicians before they could move the Troop Transports out of the Hangar.

"Very well. You may bring a team of technicians on-board." The admiral replied before the communications were disconnected. He still did not trust these people, so he had a squad of stormtroopers move down the the hangar to escort them to the repair site.
"Sir, I don't think we can trust these people." The lieutenant said. Cristan looked at him and turned back towards the viewport. "A necessary precaution. We will see if we can trust them."

"Very well. You may bring a team of technicians on-board."
"Send the Transports over." the Captain said as soon as he received confirmation from Admiral Dins. Soon enough, the two Troop Transports departed the Ventral Hangar of the FDS Navigator escorted by two pairs of TIE/fd Fighters as they headed towards the Oblivion. Once the Transports reached the Oblivion, the TIE Fighters broke off and returned to the Navigator. So far everything was going smoothly, the Captain thought. Inside the Hangars of the Oblivion, the Team of Final Dawn Technicians (25 Total) exited one Transport while a small force of Sith Troopers (15 Total) exited from the other Transport. The Commander of the Force of the Sith Troopers moved forwards to greet the commander of the force of First Order Stormtroopers sent to escort them to the repair site. "I am Sergeant Majors , commander of this Force of Final Dawn Sith Troopers. I've been sent here to provide security and protection to the team of Technicians sent from the Navigator. I hope the presence of my men will not bother you."

The stormtroopers nodded, and an officer came forward. "Thank you for assisting us. We will escort you to the repair zone." The officer spun and started forward, and the stormtroopers followed suit, escorting the repair team to the hyperdrive chamber..
Meanwhile, on the bridge, dins was standing at the viewport. The lieutenant went to his side and gave him the news that the repair team had made their way to the hyperdrive. "Excellent." He said.

The team of technicians made their way to the Hyperdrive chamber escorted by the First Order Stormtroopers of the Oblivion along with the contingent of Final Dawn Sith Troopers they had brought with them from the Navigator. Soon enough they would begin repairing the hyperdrive along with the other Technicians onboard the Oblivion. Meanwhile outside the Oblivion, things were quite calm as both Warships just stood there motionless staring at each other. However onboard the Navigator, the vessel began picking something from hyperspace. "Captain. We're detecting something coming out of hyperspace" one of the officers said. The Captain was a bit confused at this statement considering he had never called for reinforcements unless Admiral Dins had called for them.

The Captain quickly contacted the Admiral who at this point should have also been made aware of this situation by his own officers. "Admiral Dins. Are you expecting reinforcements? We're detecting numerous ships coming out of hyperspace". Within seconds, a fleet emerged from hyperspace right behind the Oblivion comprised of one
frigate, and two pair of smaller corvettes of two different classes per pair supported by 2 Squadrons of Starfighters. "Captain the ships just emerged from hyperspace and they aren't of Final Dawn or First Order design" Soon enough the alarms of the FDS Navigator were triggered indicating that men and women on board were to man their battlestations. They were under attack and the Hostile Fleet that had arrived were most likely responsible for the damage inflicted on the Oblivion and now they seemed hellbent on finishing the job.

"Admiral Dins. Looks like whoever attacked your Ship wants to finish the job. My Ship will do whatever it can to cover the Oblivion until the repairs are completed." the Captain said. "Deploy all Fighter Squadrons. Whoever these guys are whether they are pirates or resistance fighters, they are unwelcome here" the Captain ordered. Soon, two dozen
TIE/fd Fighters had left the FDS Navigator and were on their way to engage their enemy counterparts. A fierce battle was about to begin and hopefully they would emerge victorious.

"No, why would you ask tha-" The admiral was cut off as sirens started blaring. "Sir! Resistance ships dropping out of hyperspace!" He swore to himself. "Send out a squadron of TIEs to assist. At all costs protect the engines and the hyperdrive. We cannot afford more damage." Already, the pilots were rushing to their fighters, and a squadron of TIE fighters- Six special forces, and six more standard TIE fighters- emerged from the hangar bay and roared ahead to assist the Navigator's squad. They began cutting through the resistance ships, spewing green death from their twin laser cannons.

FINAL DAWN
OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

The Final Dawn TIE Fighters supported by the First Order TIEs began immediately engaging the enemy X-Wings in a dogfight as the Enemy Warships now behind the Oblivion began to approach the Star Destroyer in order to destroy it's engines at point-blank range. This granted them a major advantage as the Engines of the Oblivion were now vulnerable with little weaponry there to protect it. The Oblivion now had to count on the Navigator and it's TIEs for protection otherwise it would be stranded here and the enemy ships could pick the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer apart.

"Move the FDS Navigator into position to engage those Ships. We need to give the Oblivion enough time to repair it's Engines. In the meantime, send a distress signal to Kal'Shebbol, inform the 6th Fleet that we have been attacked by hostile unidentified hostile forces comprised of one heavily-armed frigates and four corvettes, and that we require reinforcements immediately." the Captain ordered. Soon enough the engines of FDS Navigator blared to life and the Frigate began to move around the Oblivion to engage the enemy ships at close-range to ensure the safety of the Star Destroyer's Engines.

Meanwhile inside the hyperdrive chambers, the Final Dawn Technicians were already at work, using whatever tools they had at their disposal to repair the Oblivion. They were making progress but had not yet finished the repairs when the alarms started blaring indicating that the Ship was under attack. Nevertheless, even as nearby First Order personnel scrambled to man their battlestations, the Technicians remained calm continuing their work as if nothing had happened, a testimony of their discipline. All they needed was a little bit more time, and hopefully those TIEs and the Navigator would be enough to provide them with such.

In the hyperdrive chambers, the technicians worked hard to repair the engines and hyperdrive. On the bridge, the admiral received the news that repairs were almost finished. "Good. If needed, send down an additional crew of technicians to assist if anything goes wrong." He told the lieutenant. After doing so, he plotted his next move. Once the hyperdrive was repaired, he could do one of two things: 1) Flee to First Order occupied space, or 2) escape with the FDS Navigator. He decided it would be best to flee with the Navigator, since the remnant of the First Order was scattered across the galaxy, and any First Order occupied area was most likely liberated by now. So he contacted the captain. "Captain, once the hyperdrive and engines are repaired, I will flee with you to wherever your base may be, as it is, in my opinion, the best course of action at the moment." He said through the transmitter.
