Intent: To create a useful slicer tool
Development Thread: N/A

Roleplay Information
Name: ESC [31337 511C3R CH1P]
Model: EliteSlicerChip_02
Manufacturer: Jennifer Phoenix.
Affiliation: Jennifer & C311 [PM me if you want one]

Modularity: Not physically, would require a lot of effort. However, various software can be uploaded onto the chip.

Production: Semi-Unique.

Material: the ESC consists of various expensive electronics [comparable to a high-grade datapad] as well as multiple gadgets remade to fit the ESC.

Misc. Equipment
 • Electronic Lock Breaker
 • Slicer Chip
 • Audio Recorder
 • Universal Translator
 • Drones x 4
 • Universal Jammer
Strengths and Weaknesses
[+] Gadgeteer: It contains a whole lot of useful gadgets.

[+] Universal connector: It can connect to almost any system via its many different jacks and wires. Though sometimes a little bit of soldering or wire twiddling is in order for it to work.

[-] HoloNet: Unlike most modern datapad devices, the ESC has no wireless HoloNet connection and would need a holonet cable to connect to it.

[-] Expensive: It is a costly device to build, both because of the technology used in it but also because it is handmade and therefor takes a lot of time to assemble.

[-] Drones: The Drones attached to the ESC are few in number (4) and will need to be re-made if they are lost or ruined. A problem, considering that they are fragile and easily destroyed.

[-] Jammer: The universal jammer overloads the battery if not used only for short periods of times. At max, the jammer can be used for five minutes before the battery is depleted.

Description
The ESC (otherwise known as an Elite Slicer Chip) has a weight of 1.5 kilograms and is approximately 20 centimeters long. It is able to fit onto the forearm of most people, but can of course also be used as an exclusively handheld device.

Like a datapad, the ESC is able to store data and software as well as calculate information and download/upload it through datacards or wire transferring. However, it is not able to wirelessly access the HoloNet (though it can be hooked up to it via cable). The ESC is meant for field slicer work and therefore contains various gadgets that can aid the slicer with their work.

The ESC contains various gadgets, such as an electronic lock breaker as well as a slicer chip both containing algorithmic security bypassing systems, able to crack strong passwords and encryption. Another feature that Jennifer personally thinks of one of the ESC’s greatest assets is that it contains multiple different ports and connectors of all kinds, making it able to hook up to a considerable amount of diverse systems and devices. It also contains direct wire connections, making it so the user can (with a bit of finesse) hook its cables directly to a target system.

Other gadgets include a universal jammer, capable of sending out bursts of stactic capable of blocking communications and other scanners in a 50 meter radius, this is in essence unable to be picked up by the human ear (except for an irritating pitch ringing noise), but is very easily registered and picked up by an electronic tracking devices. Furthermore, a translator as well as audio recording and four tiny drones that are meant for surveillance and Intel gathering are placed in the ESC. Their visual and audio data is by default streamed to the ESC. The ESC was personally made by Jennifer and other slicers friends that she trusts due to the demand for slicer equipment specialized for operative work.
