PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • An NKMedical Personal Atmospheric Filter on the left-hand side of the ERI-20 enables it to only process clean, healthy oxygen for bag replenishment.
  • The activation button on the right-hand side of the ERI-20 allows the user to almost instantly refill the air bag once it has been depleted.
  • A strength modulator option on the ERI-20 grants the user the ability to administer stronger, or weaker doses depending on the severity of the illness.
STRENGTHS
  • Universal: Miniaturized chemical sprays within the 'belt' of the ERI-20, combined with the embedded Smart technology that Nakaioma Medical is known for, allow it to change the air bag's contents into essentially any kind of airborne medicine or drug depending on the user's needs. Able to digitally connect to the LifeScan Pro, the ERI-20 Respirator will automatically transform the contents of the air bag to whatever medicine is required at that moment based on what the LifeScan Pro diagnoses. If unavailable, the user is able to manually input what is needed either at the time, or upon purchase, based on pre-existing conditions.
  • Fast Acting: Rapidly shooting the required chemical mix, whether it be oxygen, or something else entirely, into the user's respiratory system. The ERI-20 Medical Respirator delivers the precise amount of dose required depending on the condition, injury, and chemical medicine being administered. This information again can be taken either from the LifeScan Pro, Nakaioma Medical's database, or via manual input if the former are not available. For the latter, Nakaioma Medical suggests users ensure they are familiar with their condition.
  • Longevity: Requiring little and infrequent maintenance along with it needing only small doses of base chemical elements in-order to allow the oxygen conversion process. The ERI-20 is very much a cost effective tool, and one that will last the user a long time before needing a replacement.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not a Gas Mask: Intended for healing, or lessening the effects of illnesses, and injuries via oxygen inhalation, or chemical medicines. The ERI-20 is not a gas mask, a fact which Nakaioma Medical has had to reiterate in its advertising of the product. In theory it could be used as such, but it would not be particularly effective, as the sealing is not graded to securely keep out toxic gases, and would require the user to tightly hold it against their face, while continuously refilling the air bag with their other hand.
DESCRIPTION
The final product of a combination of several different Nakaioma Medical products, including a number of specialized inhalers, and chemical medicine deposits. The ERI-20 Medical Respirator was designed to act as a king of all trades in this field. Working closely with Fukashi Electric in the development of the ERI ChemBelt, the device built into the respirator which enables the oxygen conversion process. The ERI-20 has found usage in a number of civilian and military roles, a favorite of doctors and combat medics alike, it has more recently begun seeing use among ordinary civilians, mercenaries, and perhaps more unsavory types as a useful tool, due to NKMedical ramping up production of the product in response to growing demand. A staple of any good medical professional's inventory, the wide-breadth of the ERI-20's capabilities has made it commonplace across the galaxy.
