Upon hearing that she would not be able to pet him anymore, Tekkio really wanted to put it on right then and there. But he had questions. Questions he had not really asked before, but then again, before they did not seem to be important enough. At least, not until now. With so many questions he wanted to ask the one that was on his mind the most. He looked up at her, his amber eyes radiated curiosity. "What is the Force?" Simple words for a complicated question. It wasn't the first time he had heard of it, only dismissing it as a religion. But... Being in the sith empire, and climbing in the ranks it was only a matter of time before he discovered that this religion held power. This was confirmed to him when she mentioned that this suit simulated the force.

Vanessa's proud smile soon dissipated. "You're telling me you were never taught about the Force? Not even of it?" She sighed, frustrated as she patted her lap. It was time for a story. "The Force is an ethereal, everpresent energy field capable of being manipulated by the people known as "Force-users." This includes Jedi and Sith. The Force is what people pass into when they die. Force powers are people's manifestations of the Force in the physical world. Lightning, choke, that sort of thing. With this suit, you should be capable of emulating some of the more basic fundamental Sith powers: push, pull, and lightning. As well, you will also have an energy shield to protect you from the attack of lightsabers."

It was suitable for him, after all.

Tekkio walked over to her, ears perked. "No one bothered explaining the force." He said truthdully. "I had heard about those who could deflect blaster bolts with high reaction, but I always thought it was with the aid in technology." His ears bent down as he reeled back to jump onto her lap. He landed rather easily. "Can anyone learn the force?" He asked.

“Sadly, no.” She said. “One’s ability to use the Force appears to be, for all intents and purposes, based on their midichlorian count. Those are special cells of some sort that allow someone to channel the Force and effectively use its power.” She replied. “That said, technology can help some people emulate the Force. That’s what this suit is for.” She motioned to it.

“You know...” she said, thinking. “You should go and fight in the tournaments that regularly happen. You’re small, maneuverable, and quite dangerous. You may in fact get far.”

Tekkio looked up at her, his ears flick, then he looked at the suit. "No one has told me much. I learned a little at the academy, but I always dismissed it as a religion." Tekkio said. He was mostly hinting that he wasn't interested at first. As time went on though, he learned that most of the time, it was the sith who won the say. He always thought 'sith' was a nationality title given to the empire. And that 'a sith' was just what they called citizens, at least that is what he thought at first. "Is that all the force is good for though? Pushing, pulling? Shooting Lightning?" Tekkio asked. His tail swayed onto her arm, though it was a mistake.

The small lupine looked back up at her, and noticed his tail pulling it off her arm. "I don't think I should fight in any tournament." He said.

“It’s a mixture of religious and philosophical system, in concert with scientific theorem. The Force can be used for so much I can’t even begin to cover it.” Vanessa explained. “Our power is exceedingly important and efficiently utilized in order to maintain supremacy over the Jedi. As for the Sith, such is similar - a mixture of religion, philosophy, and organization. You are a Sith while also not being a Sith... it’s complicated.” She replied.

“I suppose the best way to put it is this. Sith are a part of whatever Sith order exists at the time. Force users using the Dark Side to advance an appropriate agenda.” She said, looking at the bun.

He tried to understand what she was trying to explain. It was rather difficult for him as he let his mind follow her words. He had many qusetions he wanted to ask. His did dismiss her explaining to him the difference between a sith citizen and a sith force user. He seemed to understand that part pretty well so there was no need to continue thinking on it. But there was a question he wanted to know about. "The dark side?" He asked. He wasn't sure if this was perhaps a fancy way of saying subterfuge or perhaps it was another force term he was not familar with. "What is that?" He asked again. Tekkio kept looking up at her with his amber eyes, tail lightly swaying on her lap, and ears perked to her words. She could feel his claws grip her to steady himself.

"The Dark Side. It's the term the Sith use for that aspect, shall we say, of the Force. An aspect our opposition in the Jedi chooses to shun. An aspect that can benefit those who use it with tremendous power and ability. An aspect that allows the Sith to be superior to the Jedi." She explained, smiling as she gave him another gentle pat on the head. "The thing is, many Sith seem to have this strange and delusional idea that this means you need to be an absolute piece of garbage to your subordinates, enslave worlds, and generally be a domineering tyrant. Apparently I am one of the few that manages to respond differently." Vanessa looked at Tekkio.

"That is why people like you have the position you have."

Tekkio's ears lightly laid to the sides as if to give her hand room to pet him, though it was more out of instinct. He still had questions. For the moment his mind was focused on the last thing she said But... he did not mind that his 'cute' nature got him into his position. Even if he hated to admit it, he could not deny that there was many would liked the look of his race. His mind eventually returned to his questions, but he wanted to ask one that he had on his mind. He looked back at his new suit. Learning new things was never a bad idea, and if he could become one of these force sith maybe that would benefit him with his real intentions. He perked his ears as he asked, "Where do I go to get tested for this?"

“Tested?” Her hand paused, resting on the bunny’s small little head before raising. “You’re saying you want to get tested and, if found to be Force Sensitive, be put through the system? I don’t want to come off as callous, but I’m not really sure if that’s a good idea. The Sith academy system as it exists now is quite torturous. It is possible that even you and your military training may not be enough to survive what they will do to you.” She sighed.

“Though there is a way I could save you from such a system.”

Tekkio kept his ears perked as he looked up at her with his amber eyes. He thought for a moment. "I am unsure what this system is you are talking about. But I would like to avoid it. Is there another way to get tested?" He asked. He was sure he already knew the answer, and was pretty eager to see this alternative. If it still required more training, he would go through it. His eyes occassionally glanced at the suit.

"There really isn't." He said. "If there was in fact another way I could reasonably test you without the Sith knowing, I would, since it would make having you as an apprentice that much easier... But..." She thought for a moment. "It is possible for me to in theory try to administer a midichlorian test. I could potentially examine it in the Malachor laboratory. But this would need to be clandestine." She considered things for a bit.

"If you do get such, that suit's gimmicks will be a lot less useful, but still beneficial." Vanessa replied.

He thought for a moment, glancing at the suit, then looked back up at her. "You said there was more to the dark force than telekinetic powers. I would want to at least know that I could use the force." He said, there was a light perk of his ears as he looked to the suit again. "I will keep this a secret from everyone. No one will know." The small lupine like creature said.

A smile crossed Vanessa's face. "Now there's a little bit of Sith cunning showing." She smiled, considering what to do. "Head down to the medical bay and get yourself a blood test. If they ask who authorized it, tell them I'd like to have a blood sample of yours to personally check for any genetic mutation." Such was a weak excuse, but a plausible one. Perhaps Vanessa could have done something to Tekkio and wanted to ensure there were no aberrancies in his system. That would work.

"Go, do that, then come back. And don't forget your new armor."

Tekkio gave a sharp salute, or rather as sharp as he could on her lap and turned to leap off her. Feet claws lightly gripping her to give himself more momentum in his leap forward. Tail bounced with his form as he walked over to the suit to inspect it before finding a good way to take it with him. He took the suit outside the office with him, heading for the turbolift. His escort was waiting for him and followed him in his direction.

The doors opened up to see Tekkio and his escort. Soon he recognized the faces that was usually under or around his command. "Can you take this suit to my personal racks?" Tekkio asked, the soldier nodded. "Another one, huh?" The soldier said. "At least it is smaller and more managable." Tekkio nodded at his words. Before the small Kushiban could walk too far away the soldier spoke up, following him. "Sir, I dont suppose there is a mission coming up..." The soldier asked. Tekkio chuckled. "Maybe. We have our orders to hyperjump. But things might change. I'll keep you informed."

It wasnt long before he was in the medbay. He wasn't sure what he was expecting to see, but did as Vanessa asked, having droids and doctors draw a little of his blood to be analized.
