The trail up to Shiraya's Sanctuary had been long and winding, and several times Mysa was left wondering if she had somehow made a wrong turn; she knew that she hadn't, it was rare indeed that the Force led her astray - forsaken her, yes, but addled her senses? no. It was not a route for those who were not already in the know, and Mysa most certainly was not, yet as she came around that final rocky curve she found it spread before her all the same.
Down at her side Felix chuffed, while overheard Odiir soared and circled; he had found it before her, of course, had given credence to the path she was upon, but until she saw it for herself she could not quite believe her journey over.
Not over, she reminded herself, it is merely beginning. For now the true trial began.
Pushing down the hood of the fur cloak which dwarfed her even now, Mysa Snowstrider paused to take a nice long breath of fresh mountainous air. The wind whipped through her hair, drawing wisps free from the many braids and roughing up her already questionable appearance. She was rugged even for a Valkyri, nevermind their Princess, and she certainly did not fit the stereotypical bill for a Jedi, yet she shone within the light all the same and especially here she saw no cause to dampen it.
The Force was all around, blinding and brilliant and beautiful, and she was happy to bask in it as she caught her breath.
"Come" she urged the frir, with a nudge of her head toward the white steps and walkways that still kept her from the main body of the Temple, "Time to see if they will even recognize me as one of their own." It had been a long time since
