Jairdain
Lady of Juniper
Not long ago, Brad had approached her on something. It was unexpected, but in a way not as surprising as it could have been. They both knew he could the use Force and from time to time, she had interjected a lesson or two. Nothing very formal or profound as getting him to focus on a task he wasn't interested in was like trying get a Hutt to cooperate when it came to exercise. It just didn't happen.
However, the day he came to her, there was something different. It was soon made clear why though. He was being plagued by dreams and visions of a man from his past. The man he took his name from and likely admired greatly. Whatever he had seen in these indicated he felt like he was a failure. He was failing Shaw, his family and people. The people being the last of his personal concern, but still present. As Crown Prince, he would eventually rule over them. In his current state he just was NOT ready or even close to doing that.
As his advisor, Jairdain had attempted to guide him. Most of the time it worked since she had stood up to him, not bent or wavered in her duty. As they spent more time together, they had learned to work together on a professional level and he respected her as well as trusted. What had started out as a position he resented her being in, they had ended up with a relationship with an extremely solid foundation. Even if there were times he resisted her guidance, he did listen. Their exchanges had evolved over time until a time came where there was almost no longer a need to resist or fight. An equal partnership in most things.
She listened to what he had to say and came up with a plan to help him. However, her plan needed permission or at least the knowledge of it happening. So Jairdain spoke to both Brad and Kay about it. What her plan was and if they both agreed to it. Permission was given and she had to prepare a little for this. Both of them needed to wrap up a few things. The day came for them to leave and from what she could tell, everything was in order.
They left Commenor and made the trek to Iridonia and to her home there. The planet was a mix of desert and savannah, harsh living conditions and hopefully an ideal location to accomplish what she wanted to do with Brad.
