Prophet of Bogan
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Easily the largest ship produced by the Inquisitorial Armory thus far, surpassing the earlier carrier counterpart of the Arbite-class, the Eliminator was designed to fill a noticeable gap in their production line in terms of heavier warships. While unable to produce any Star Destroyer class vessels, at least in any meaningful numbers, the engineers and designers of the Inquisition instead decided to focus on firepower and defense in a cruiser class ship to maximize their existing experience with ship design and production.
The Eliminator-class line with be launched with this simple but effective premise, a warship capable enough to be the main fighting vessel of a fleet yet simple and efficient enough to be produced on a larger scale. Although later variants would add more specialized features and utility, the standard Eliminator-class cruiser is a killing machine in every sense of the word. Heavily reinforced and shielded, a variety of weaponry and armaments in good number, and a couple of additional special systems to give it an edge in both combat and wider operations, the first of the line proved to be an impressive piece and was immediately put into wider production.

- Built for War: From the numerous and varied armaments to the enforced and enhanced defenses, the Eliminator cruisers are warships first and foremost. Purposely made to withstand assaults from larger vessels and dish out a respectable amount of damage in return, and even carry a slightly varied hangar accompaniment for utility purposes.
- Special Features: The Hyperwave Transceiver and the Droid Brain systems contribute to the Eliminators being as efficient as possible, being able to delegate turrets and cannons to droid targeting and management at any moment and send messages through hyperspace through more secure channels.
- Sluggish in Battle: The Eliminators are rather slow and sluggish for cruisers, relying heavily on their defensive and offensive capabilities to win battles rather than clever maneuvering. As a result they do often find themselves engaged in combat with larger ships by necessity, for better or worse.
- Warrior First: While the Eliminators are capable killers, they do lack some aspects that would allow for them to serve as command ships in a fleet. A small hangar space, little room for additional cargo, and simple standard communication and coordination systems, means that while it is an effective class of warship it is essentially resigned to a destroyer and assault role alone. Modifications are necessary for it to serve any other role to any real degree.
