NAME: Eli'ans'arcos (Elian Sarcos)
FACTION: One Sith
RANK: Apprentice, formerly Lieutenant in the CEDF
SPECIES: Chiss
AGE: 21
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5'9"
WEIGHT: 170 lbs
EYES: Red
HAIR: Blue
SKIN: Blue
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:
Elian is both cold and calculating, which means he rarely makes rash decisions and has full control of his emotions. It is very easy for him to enter a situation and devise a quick, effective solution. Goading is not a way to get him to enter combat. On top of this, he is very good at studying his opponents and searching for their weakness before striking, which can make him a frustrating opponent as he might sit and only defend for a great length of time before he attacks. He has a strong sense of purpose, as well.

Weaknesses:
Since he is cold and calculating, it is very difficult for him to make friends, and very easy for him to make enemies. This is not through any effort to cause such, it is simply the nature of his species. Additionally, Elian possesses a rare disorder where his lungs will sometimes fail to inflate no matter how hard he draws a breath. He wears an apparatus to combat this, but that apparatus is subject to the same rules as any other piece of electrical equipment and is only partially shielded against electro-magnetic fields.

APPEARANCE:
Elian is built similarly to most Sith, though he was formerly a naval officer, so his physical fitness was not up to the same standard as those of the ground forces in the CEDF. That said, he was still a more than capable combatant, and possessed good physical fitness, especially when compared to other species. In private he will don the garb of his homeworld, or he might adapt to the local clothing choices, depending on the comfort, style, and whether or not it's actionable. In combat, he dresses in combat armor, which is largely designed to instill fear in his enemies, thus making them easier for his methodical approach to their dispatch.

BIOGRAPHY:
Like most Chiss, Elian was exceptional as a child. He progressed rapidly, and was a promising officer in the military by the age of twelve. By all accounts he had a bright future ahead of him. Unbeknownst to most, however, he had a secret. Elian was Force Sensitive. He'd known about it for quite some time, but he'd done nothing about it because he simply had no reason to care. He served the CEDF and would likely continue to do so. But the political backstabbing, and the culture of assassination that the Chiss lifestyle is full of quickly came to a jaded point for him when his parents were brutally murdered despite being from a lesser, not well known house.

Elian was angry, but not at the killer. He was angry at the society that condoned such killings as a way of achieving status. He was angry that the members of the CEDF fought so that the people at home could sit around and kill themselves in a silly political game. The hatred he felt for them threatened to overwhelm him, so he disappeared.

In retrospect, he pretended to have been captured by a group of Vagari. In reality, he left Ascendency space and entered the galaxy proper. At first he wasn't quite sure where to begin, as he explored many options, but he quickly came to realize that the path of the Jedi and their ilk would see nothing but futility and failure. The path of the Sith was not much different, but at least with their knowledge he might be able to do something about the galaxy as a whole, starting with his own people. So he settled into the life of a Sith, even though he often didn't seem to fit in because of his extreme emotional control. Now he seeks knowledge and power, and will do what is necessary to rid the galaxy of the ridiculous nature of the people who live in it.

ROLE-PLAYS:
True Silence Is White Noise
Fly High, Die High

Current List of Goals:

1) Take control of the Chiss through subterfuge and backhanded politics in an effort reorganize the way the Chiss exist (IE, he hates the political backstabbing, thinks it's deplorable, but is willing to use it as a means to end it).

2) Remove the One Sith hold over Chiss space.

3) Determine who can be trusted to assist in his effort to cleanse the galaxy of the corruption that plagues it.

4) Systematically destroy all major galactic factions, starting with the one he is currently a member of.

Note: None of these are public knowledge from an IC standpoint. The main reason I'm doing this is to establish a list of motivations to help me write him, as well as to establish his motives for actions which will certainly not be taken lightly by some people.

Mmm. Don't believe that was the original intent of that faction, but things change.

Everyone wants to destroy the OS that isn't in the OS. Elian doesn't particularly care about destroying the OS in the sense that he doesn't absolutely hate everyone within it, it's not a personal vendetta, it's about unification. He'll never achieve his goals, obviously, but the loftiest goals make a character interesting, and generally mean he will always have something to strive for. He will always have work to do.

To be fair, last time I did this was directly to spite the OS, which was horrible motivation. This time I bred a character with more short term and long term goals, and no personal ill will towards the OS.

...I understand the Dark side is filled with hate...but sheesh destroy all factions? Without even a rule over it all vendetta? Lol sorry. I just don't see it. Not my character though so
