STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Strengths are fun, but as a role player of over a decade online (and 2 decades offline, D&D ladies) I can honestly say that weaknesses are far better and much, much more fun.

So in that light, let’s play around with weaknesses!
The Physical:
1) Limited skinshifting: El’s original form is unknown to everyone accept himself and will refuse to show anyone. Especially his loved ones and friends. El utilizes much of his skin shifting to keep himself in his human form. However, unlike full blooded Shi’ido, El cannot gain great amounts of mass, nor shrink himself down. EL is limited to minor forms of shifting such as growing claws, forcing his muscular tissue to become denser to increase his own strength (generally a painful and tenuous process) or shifting his ocular complexity. These shifts take time (a minimum of 2 posts for simple cosmetic changes up to ten posts for complex changes during combat. This is a rule I made for myself. Changes of these sorts should never be instant). Keep in mind that the rule is null if a single post describes a long period of time, it is never null in combat. This is also strength.
2)From his Gen’Dai heritage he has no heart or lungs.
3)Hibernation susceptibility: In a place of extreme cold and a lack of oxygen and after taking extensive damage to his body: El will retreat into a coma or torpor like state in which he will begin to rapidly heal. It is entirely possible to keep him in this stasis form indefinitely in a bacta tank that meets said environmental prerequisites. So feel free to blow him out of the airlock. This hibernation is equivalent to the
4)Not a Marksmen- He can’t hit anything at all, unless there is a scope on it. There is a reason why he uses rapid fire weapons: he will eventually hit his target…at least every once in a while.
5)Do not let him fly a vessel in combat.
Ever.
6) El is specialized in stealth, infiltration melee combat and tactics. Though he has some skill in engineering armor, weapons and some devices he is certainly no mechanic or high level technician.
7) On habitable planets of unusually high gravity, Elgyn's Gen'Dai heritage shows another weakness. His body will begin to collapse, not because of the gravity it'self but because he lack any true bone structure. Even with his skinshifting: he must wear a suit of armor to keep his humanoid form.
The Mental
0.1) Sometimes he just doesn't shut up.
1) Hero Complex- As much as he seems to ignore it: Elgyn wants to be a good guy. He is still learning.
2) The Big Lie: the Mask- Elgyn keeps floating the Idea that he is insane and just plain weird. In reality it is a cover, a real mask. At one point he tried to have a distinctive and uncommon mask over his face at all times. But soon he learned that what he was and who he was were two different things He hides his face to hide himself because he hates himself and feels that he is not allowed to be loved, have a family nor does he feel that happiness is something he deserves. El puts on a show: an act, a character to hide what is underneath.
3) Affected Insanity faux pas.- As explained above, El put on a constant farce. However, if someone can use his outstanding nonsensical logic against him the result will certainly turn in their favor.

BIOGRAPHY:

Elgyn was the product of a mad man.

Designed and engineered by an insane Jedi known only as the Great Divine to be his weapon in a crusade against all Force-users, both Jedi and Sith alike, in the name of some obscure deity whom only the Great Divine witnessed. Elgyn’s first memories were waking up in a bacta tank, with no recollection of who he was or how he got there, fully grown (and quite possibly artificially aged). He broke out of the tank and the pod in which he was being held, escaping into a ship and slaughtering any who got in his way with his bare hands. He had no experiences or memories, only mental programming which was only half-successful. He had emotions, but no memories.

Sometime after his escape, he [joined a pirate] fleet as the ship’s cook on one of the flagships. There he began to become… more. Through his adventures with the pirates, experiencing the world with fresh eyes, he grew. Meeting Arumi Zy among the fringe elements of the galaxy, Elgyn was eventually adopted into a clan of the nigh-extinct Mandalorians. Though he didn't necessarily see himself as Mandalorian, he did come to regard them as family and grew to respect their culture and customs (though he continues to butcher the language anytime he tries to speak it).

After some time, the Great Divine returned, leading an army called the Divine Order. He began his scourge of the galaxy—converting those who would follow, killing any who tried to oppose them. The presence of the Great Divine had an effect on Elgyn, activating his genetic memory engrams and awakening a pre-programmed personality which overtook him. Elgyn became a spectator in his own body—knowing what he was doing but powerless to stop it. He threw his signature cowl at Arumi’s feet and was made Lord Marshal of the Divine Order’s military and right hand to the Divine.
During a climactic battle on Bothawui, in the
room of the tallest tower of the Divine’s fortress, the Divine was seemingly killed in a massive explosion. Elgyn barely managed to escape, though his body was pulverized to the point which he lapsed into a hibernation trance. With the Divine’s presence dissipated and the influence lifted, the crimes he’d committed against the Mandalorians and the people whom he had called friends—family—weighed on Elgyn, and he desperately went in search of redemption.
Soon after, he stumbled upon a mute though incredibly gifted mechanic named Zirk’a (and her astromech droid ‘translator’ Sixx), and after a particularly taxing mission in the Fringes, she joined him on his ship. Some time later, after a few smuggling jobs and minor catastrophes, Elgyn found himself coming face-to-face with his past once again.
A strange Shi’ido approached him—a Sith warlock, obsessed with Elgyn and bordering on insane—by the name of Suul. Literally. He simply appeared, taking Zirk’a hostage and disappearing on his ship, leaving it up to Elgyn and Sixx to rescue her—but not before Suul could leave his mark on the hapless girl.
Now furious at Suul and fiercely protective of Zirk’a—and strapped for cash—the two of them have now set forth into the galaxy once more, in search of adventure.
