SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Pulse Cannon Technology causes Blaster bolts to travel 3 times faster than normal.
  • Technology from Charrics cause all bolts to have severe Kinetic impact, making them difficult for Lightsabers to deflect
  • Technology from the Io Series Laser Carbine cause the Galvanic Circuits to cause odd fluctuations to every blaster bolt the rifle fires, making them difficult to halt or slow with Telekinesis
  • Built in Amphistaff Power Gland, making it difficult to cut through with Lightsabers
  • Magnatomic Adhesion Grip, making it difficult to disarm user either conventionally or with Telekinesis
  • Super Accuracy
  • Capable of firing underwater
  • Highly Modular
  • Rugged and easily repaired to minimal condition with minimal resources
  • Fires in Multiple damage modes (Ionic, Cryonic, Incendiary, Phantom Laser)
STRENGTHS
  • Mage Killer: A number of modifications have been made to the rifle to make it more effective at killing Force Adepts. It possesses a Magnatomic Adhesion Grip, to help reduce the risk of being disarmed by conventional or telekinetic means. A cloned power gland from an Amphistaff covers the weapon in a field that makes it resistant to direct blows from a Lightsaber. It barrows from Charrics Technology, meaning it's bolts have immense kinetic impact making them very difficult to deflect for Lightsabers to deflect. Furthermore, it's galvaning circuits are the same as those in the Io Series Laser Carbine, meaning each bolt fired has odd fluctuations on the bolts energy envelope, making them difficult to halt or stop with Telekinesis
  • Recoil: Gentle recoil, even on full auto.
  • And it's pointed straight at your head, Tannen!: This thing could shoot the fleas off a dog's back at 150 meters.
  • Fight Anywhere: Capable of firing underwater
  • Indoor Sports: A compact carbine, it's excellent for indoor use
  • Apocalypse Proof: Highly ruggedized and difficult to damage, and easily restored to minimal function with minimal resources (Fire rate will be at semi auto, ion damage only, range point blank). Can also fire even after immersion in thick mud, ice
  • Modularity: Can accept various scopes, stocks, foregrips, tripods, and weapon undermounts, such as shotguns, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and sprayer-type weapons, and bayonets
  • Damage Modes: Capable of firing in different damage elements: Ionic (Effective against both organics, shields, less effective against armor, and Droids), Cryonic (Effective against Armor and Organic tissue, less effective against shields) Incendiary (Effective against Shields and tissue, less effective against armor), Phantom Laser (Last one is non lethal, merely painlessly stunning and knocking out, but effective against armor and shields)
WEAKNESSES
  • Range: It's a carbine, at the end of the day, and it's range is a paltry 150 meters
  • Vanilla: It's ammo, damage potential, and fire rate are perfectly average, nether worst, nor best
  • Underwater weakness: Range is reduced to point blank (21 meters) while Underwater. Can only fire in ionic mode while Underwater
  • Biotech: Requires a biotech tool kit as much as a blaster repair kit
DESCRIPTION

This blaster, designed as much to be a practical battlefield instrument as it was to kill Force Sensitives, is it one more example of House Io's willingness to throw out the rulebook on infantry weapons, determined to become as much of a problem for enemy Force Adepts by flooding the market with next generation weaponry and arming their allies and as much of their own citizens as possible.

Meant more for those operating in city environments and tight spaces, while still providing a better than normal chance of survival against Force Users. At times it seems to straddle the line between assault rifle and SMG, and signifies a shift away from more high powered weapons developed by the faction, starting to focus more on making them rugged and cheap at the cost of damage and range, while nonetheless using certain special functions

A pragmatic distillation of House Io Weapons Technology, meant to be easily produced and fielded, and costing only 25 percent as much to manufacture, the Carbine is easy to learn, use and maintain, but difficult to master, but those who do will have themselves a weapon that can easily pose a threat to conventional warriors as well as teach Force Wizards the meaning of the words "Nah, Fam."
