Strengths:
You cannot hide forever, Luke: The Alchemized Lens and enchanted electronics allow Maple to detect anyone attempting to hide their bodies with The Force. The Lens on the scope is not fooled by Force Illusion techniques...it always sees the truth...however it must be paired with the enchanted lamp to work, as it shines an invisible, tight but narrow beam where the scope is pointed, the electronics are enchanted in such a way that when the beam reacts to someone hiding their bodies with the Force, it produces an invisible reaction that only the lens can pick up. This also works if the target is using a technology based stealth field.

Light Maser Tech: Derived from charrics, Maple created an intermediate powered blaster rifle that has a kinetic impact roughly thirty percent that of a charric rifle, and dissipates on contact, meaning it cannot be deflected by Lightsabers.

Semi-Auto: It fires as fast as the trigger is pulled.

Marksmen: The rifle's accuracy is nearly unrivaled for a carbine. Multiple shots fired in succession will hit within very tight clusters of each other, even at maximum range.

High Capacity: Carries a decent sized clip

Shadow-troopin' it: The power pack it now comes with, in addition to making it possible for the heavily modified scope to work, also hooks up to the rifle itself, helping process its energy to help it fire up to four, invisible, silent bolts, that do much more damage, while retaining their charric-like attributes.

Weaknesses:

Weak: The bolt, while having much more kinetic impact than normal and dissipating like a charric, is barely more powerful than a standard blaster pistol in its primary setting and won't go through anything tougher than light armor..

Slow going: In either setting, the modifications done to it have made it very slow to reload, due to the fact it takes the electronics a delay of a few seconds to register the new blaster clip. In addition once the rifle's gas canister runs out, hooking both it and the rifle back up to the electronics pack can be a time consuming process, as thats how its gas is now refined to fire slightly charric like bolts.

Ion vulnerable: Fry this things electronics to remove much of the danger. Maple modified it so heavily and some of its systems are so experimental that she simply wasn't able to shield it well from electronics, so it will need at least five minutes for its system to reboot.

Weight increase: The power pack adds to the weight mostly, though the alchemized lenses are noted as being slightly heavier than normal for their size. Not enough to hinder movement, but enough that it might get tiring, lugging it around.

Larger target: The electronics pack is a large target. Take it out, and the rifle does not work.

Overheat: On secondary setting the rifle needs a few seconds between shots to let the barrel cool.

Range: For all its astonishing accuracy, it is still not a true long range sniping weapon, more of a high class DMR.

DESCRIPTION

The very first rifle Maple ever wielded, and the one she has held onto after all these years, Maple gained the attention of The Marksmen when she used it to storm the floating fortress of a Sith Lord to rescue her fellow Jedi. Many of its original upgrades were removed when Maple left the order, but upon working for the CIS she began to once more tinker with it, basing its upgrades off both the Nightstinger sporting blaster, charrics, and using notes from The Resistors of Darkness to create the lens and upgrade and enchant the electronics and lenses. The result is a devastating, lethal weapon for an assassin at medium to long engagement distances that fires a golden hued bolt on its primary setting as fast as the trigger is pulled, its enchanted scope allowing her to spot anyone in a cloaking field.

The electronics pack, in addition to providing the invisible beam that allows the lens to spot cloaked Force Adepts also refines its blaster gas into both the charric like bolts it fires in its primary setting, and the invisible, silent, charric like ones on its secondary setting. A powerful, deadly tool for assassination, Maple's rifle is the weapon of a True Marksmen.
