Elbow room – that's what people want

Maja had done some research into the history of the Jedi and Sith, but not much. Her interest had been more targetted. But the name of Revan was one she'd heard.

So she looked at [member="Glyph"]. "Revan. Wasn't he a Jedi and a Sith?" In truth it was a stalling question. Once upon a time (well a few weeks ago as a matter of fact) the concept of being carefree and under no time constraints would have been bliss to Maja. But now she was driven and every action had to, in her mind, take her forward or be abandoned. So her mind raced as to the value of the star maps. "Might there be useful information on the maps? Stuff that say an astro-droid wouldn't have access to?"

[member="Maja Vern"]

"You know you think too much. This galaxy can provide hundreds of thousands of things for you to think about but that doesn't mean you need to do so. What happened to laughing and messing around with no cares for anything." He turned and started walk backward while leaning forward as he looked at her eyes.

Now Maja was conflicted. She had enjoyed the carefree spirit that [member="Glyph"] seemed to find in her. But the part he hadn't liberated berated her for wasting time. For letting her sister down.

"The things is...I mean, I don't really know. It's like I'm two people. One wants to just have fun and the other tells me I need to grow up. And I don't know which one to listen to."

[member="Maja Vern"]

"Listen to both, i agree, you do sometimes need to grow up, but Maja, dont let that rule your life. What i mean is this. Yes, im carefree, especially today. You see Maja, yes it is wrong to do nothing all the time as you become lazy and you start to lose sight on what is important in life... But, there is the point where if you devote yourself to your work you become a boring and stiff as a jedi and will never enjoy your life. So you mix them, yes we are going to see this star map, but enjoy the sounds and the smells of this world... infact." He smiled as they reached his speeder, stopping to look through what was inside it and pulling out a violin. "How about i play this while we walk to these ruins."

Maja wrinkled her nose. He was right of course - but she'd spent her entire life without choice - and found the options a little overwhelming. But as she pondered his words, he pulled something odd out of his speeder.

Maja looked at the strange instrument. "What on earth is that?"

[member="Glyph"]

[member="Maja Vern"]

"Very old kind of instrument, i picked it up from someone on Naboo, they called it a violin... think of it like a smaller string instrument than a harp if you understand what that is. But its a much more beautiful sound, come one." He smiled and pulled out a bow, closing his eyes and walking towards the ruins as soft sad notes that held a quiet and beautiful voice came from the instrument. His own movements seemed to mix with the music, his footsteps careful and slow, his hand fluid and even sad about how it crossed the strings. His eyes remained closed this entire time, using his force sight and looking at the flows of the force.

Maja looked at him blankly. "So by way of explanation, this thing that I don't know is a smaller version of something else I don't know." She laughed softly. "But sound I understand."

And when she heard the sound she found it captivating. It was nothing like the electronic instruments she'd heard playing in various clubs and bars. This music was soulful and connected to the emotions in a way she'd never experienced before. And as he played she danced. Balletic movements that ebbed and flowed in time with the music. And she closed her eyes and truly lost herself whilst [member="Glyph"] played.

He smiled, hearing her footsteps change as he glanced behind him while he played and watched her, blinking as his hand still moved but his mind suddenly focused in on continuing the song as long as possible. It took him a few moments to reel in his train of though and smiled to himself again as he laughed. The last person he played for had shown absolutely no interest for the music where Maja embraced it... how different two people can be. Thinking best not to ruin the moment he continued to play and walk, thinking on how this galaxy was holding surprise after surprise behind every closed door.

Maja followed the sound. It was as though she was entranced and following some mystical musician that had bewitched her. In truth she was simply enjoying the music that [member="Glyph"] was playing. And every time it appeared the music was going to stop she raised her tempo to encourage him to continue. It worked as she danced her way across the meadow. Some of the time her eyes were closed. But the sense of giddiness forced her to open them every now and then. But as soon as she felt her equilibrium return, she would shut them tight and allow her ears to guide her.

She was breathless in the end, giddy and giggling. "You'll have to do that again, on the way back. It was...magical. Thank you.". She smiled and leaned forward, kissing him on the cheek before he had a chance to react. And laughing she skipped away again.

Glyph blinked when she finally stopped, his own arms dropping as they felt like lead at this point and he smiled wide before looking for somewhere to sit down. "You know, you are the only person that has reacted in that way to my music, i was starting to think i was bad at it, next i know you are probably going to like my poems next." He laughed to himself, remembering the feeling of a book hitting him on the face when he had tried to do that, at the same moment her kiss to his cheek hit, blinking and eyes turning to her wide as he watched her laugh and skip away. "I... you... uh... hey wait..." He stood up again, tucking bow and instrument safely under arm as he sttarted after her.

Maja continued to laugh. This was a new experience for her and she would make it last as long as she could. Just like the day she'd met Alexandra and never wanted the conversation to end. Without knowing it, she frowned. She felt guilty and that was not an emotion she was used to dealing with. And being Maja, she refused to dwell on anything that didn't make her feel better, so she did her best to push thoughts of the woman out of her mind. Or at least out of her conscious mind.

"Music yes, poems no. And I'm not waiting for anyone. Keep up." But as she had no idea where they were going, she was never going to get too far ahead anyway. [member="Glyph"] would be back in the lead soon enough.

[member="Maja Vern"]

He frowned and made a over exagerated frown at her saying that. "Oh come on, im not that bad at poetry..." He then laughed after a moment. His foot steps led him right up beside her as he took the lead and led her for the ruins that he had been talking about all this time. And soon he would find the old stone ruins, his eyes looking over them silently and carefully to make sure no Kath Hounds were waiting for them.

Maja assumed there was more to see here than ruins. For a moment she wondered if he'd brought her here for 'another' reason, but she finally dismissed this thought. He'd had plenty of opportunity before now and unless he had some strange tastes, the crumbling stones weren't exactly pretty to look at.

So she looked around - for what she didn't know - and waited for guidance from [member="Glyph"]

[member="Maja Vern"]

Glyph smiled and then noticed she was waiting for him to say something and he laughed, looking at her as he spoke. "Hey, what are you looking at me for, im not the one that is so interested into the starforge. After you Maja and do be sure not to get us trapped ehh?" He was busy looking at a stone now, studying it for any signs of recent disturbance.

Maja took the hint and started walking into the ruins. It wasn't an intelligent search, she simply walked slowly through the stones - looking around for anything that looked out of the ordinary. It was then she noticed [member="Glyph"] taking particular interest in a stone. "Care to share?" she asked as she turned around and walked to where he was standing.

[member="Maja Vern"]

"Just making sure that we don't have any more quadrupedal visitors waiting for us in there, after all i would rather not be a chew toy for a Kath Hound i didn't see waiting for us..." He muttered something after that along the lines that if there was another creature in these ruins it would be very likely he was going to pass out this time from over exertion. "Perhaps we should head in, it doesn't look like the ruins were disturbed in a long time."

Maja took that to mean she was able to walk quickly and make as much noise as she wanted. She stopped occasionally to look around, but essentially bulldozed her way forward, her eyes only on the prize. After a few minutes she slowed down and looked to [member="Glyph"]. "What exactly am I looking for?"

The term Star Forge sounded grand but she had no real idea what it was. It could be the size of a house or fit in the palm of her hand. She had no idea.

[member="Maja Vern"]

He blinked and then went wide eyed as he started laughing, realizing he himself had no ideat what thsi star forge map thing even looked like. "Well, look for something with an X on it, because i honestly have no idea..." He rubbed his neck, still watching for any sign of danger as he didn't exactly trust old ruins like this that were thousands of years old, who knows what made its nest here in all that time... the thought scared him that they could be walking into the jaws of something he himself would not be able to fight.

Maja laughed. [member="Glyph'} didn't have any more idea what they were looking for than she did. So she looked around and finally felt a similar sensation to when she found the crystal. It was calling to her, drawing her in. She followed the feeling and finally came across what must have once been a three-legged structure. Marks like runes were still visible despite the corrosion damage.

She looked at the contraption and then back to Glyph. She cocked her head. "Is this it?"

[member="Maja Vern"]

Glyph looked at the device with wide eyes as he rushed over and smiled like a maniac, running his hands over it. "This has to be it... how do i make it work how do i make it work..." He sat down on his knees and looked for any inscriptions, lost with a wondered stare as he looked at Maja with the same wide and excited grin. "This is it, it has to be, how to make it work i don't know... what do you think." He turned his head back, running his fingers over it as he looked for some lever or button or something.
