Elbow room – that's what people want

Maja looked at [member="Glyph'] "I guess there's not a button that says 'On' is there?" In truth she had no idea and with Glyph all over the contraption she couldn't get close enough to help anyway.

He laughed and looked back at her. "Considering this thing is so old that it looked like it doesn't even work probably written in a picture message i don't understand, I mean what does it want me to use the force on it to get it work." He laughed and stood up, sending a quick force push at it as he stood there as a joke... up until the point where he heard the arms start to move causing him to slowly turn his head around and face the machine again. "Or... we could do that..."

[member="Maja Vern"]

"WEll i guess you can... i guess i just expected this thing to have a switch or lever, not just react to the force..." He almost seemed disappointed that such an important map was that easy to open. "Well this is a bummer."

Maja appeared to have lost interest in the contraption. She started to look around the ruins and grabbed another candy bar from her bag. Taking a big bite, she said, "So if we can't get it to work I guess I ought to head back to my ship.". This excursion was not one she'd planned and wasted time was something she abhorred. She raised an eyebrow at [member="Glyph"] quizzically.

And then she realised he'd managed to open it. Perhaps she was expecting a fanfare or flashing lights or something. Surely an object this special would at least make some sort of noise to signify they'd been successful. "Oh...I didn't realise. We'll go on then, make it work." And she threw the bar aside as she moved in to get closer to Glyph, to see what all the fuss was about.

[member="Maja Vern"]

"Right make it work... uh.." He laughed blinked as he looked around and touched it with the force again as the map recognized the feeling and began to work, the orb in the center lifting before its created a three dimensional map of the galaxy. "Well... this looks like its pretty unclear as to where the starforge would have been long ago, probably broken or incomplete. That's a joy..."

Finally Maja couldn't contain her ignorance any longer. It was a question she'd been meaning to ask for a while now. "It's really...pretty I guess, but does it serve an actual purpose or have any significant value?"

"Well seeing as the Star Forge is well destroyed, the simple answer to your question is a flat out no. So i do apologize for the inconvenience there Crimson." He sighed himself that he could never find the star forge because of the actions of the past. He merely wanted to see it so that he knew or not if he could follow the same path as the old Jedi Revan. "Shame we can't follow that guys path anymore."

Maja looked to the bright side. "At least you can say you saw it. I mean, you could take a selfie if you wanted?" it was a gentle teasing but there was an undercurrent of boredom. She'd enjoyed his company and especially his violin playing, but the day was done and she was restless. "What do you say we call this a day and you give me one more ride on your speeder back to my ship, eh?"

"I don't know, but i do hope that you can handle going on that speeder again, i mean last time you looked absolutely terrified." He laughed, knowing she didn't and that he was just attempting to get her to react as he started towards the exit of the ruins. He was probably going to get hit upside the head for the comment but it would be a welcome feeling that he missed oddly.

Maja rushed to the speeder and turned to face [member="Glyph"]. "Let me take you on it and then we'll see who's scared." There was a sense of fun in her eyes. Her long journey hadn't yet started and she was still innocent enough to laugh at the simplicity of the situation.

He grinned and rose a brow as he put his violin back onto the speeder that he had with him, laughing before patting the spot on the speeder before he would hop on behind her once she was on. "OK, but you really don't think you can make me scared that easily crimson."

I truth she was a novice on the bike compared to him. Her only hope of scaring him was the fact that he wasn't in control. So she hopped on and opened up the throttle before heading back the way they'd come.

She kept it fairly safe, reaching decent speeds on the flat but taking no risks near any obstacles. She was a little mad - but not suicidal. But she enjoyed doing the driving - being in control again. And so she brought them back to the old Jedi ruins and switched the bike off.

"That was fun, we should do it again some time." It was a warm and sincere smile but in her eyes she gave him a look that said it wouldn't happen again. That next time they met she'd be a different person. Different enough that he might want to kill her - before she killed him.

Glyph watched the fields pass him by and soon his eyes ran over the outline of many lone things out on the plains, simply enjoying the ride before the thing stoped again and Glyph only smiled at her as she said that. "You know, you shouldn't lie about making plans with someone, if you want to do this ever again and not get groaned at by whoever it is that you are worried about find me on Naboo. I work at the Palace and just remember miss Maja when you forget your own humanity you become worse than any monster ever thought up or created."

Maja smiled. "Oh, I don't know - I can think of some pretty scary monsters." And she danced around him again, laughing as she did before diving in and kissing him on the cheek again before dancing out of reach. "And I've enjoyed today. More than you'll ever know, it's been wonderful. But as I've found out lately, all good things must come to an end."

"Thats a pretty poor way to think, you should always strive to make the days better, to be happy. Remember that Crimson, your joy is far more important than your sadness.... i can see your aura by the way, i already knew the first moment i saw you and thank you for not stabbing me in the back." He winked at her and rubbed his cheek. "By the way, your kisses are rather nice, seeya." Without further talking he hoped onto the speeder, bowed his head to her, and shot off over the plains.

Maja watched him disappear before heading back to her ship. The bouncer had warned her that she'd find happiness but that it would in turn make her sad. Was this advice from [member="Glyph"] a coincidence? Did they both know something? Had the Force given them insight?

Or was it all just fortune cookie philosophy? Happy or sad, she knew what she had to do - but first she needed to do some homework...
