The bipedal droid is capable of traveling great distances without requiring a recharge due to its extended solar powered power pack. Its durasteel frame allows it to take a bit of a beating from spills or drops. The plastoid body and reinforced joints and servos also aid in fall damage being reduced. Its thin body allows it and its comrades to get into almost any crevice and its retractable legs allow it to burrow underground as well. The single photoreceptor on the droid also doubles as a floodlight.
Equipped with powerful sensors and complex sample collection software EGGS of many models (Mk. 4 is the newest version) can be found throughout Orax. However, because they are so plentiful they are privy to being corrupted by the electromagnetic disturbances caused by much of Omni's hidden remaining tech, sometimes causing them to go rogue. This means that the EGGS are the most common Rogue Fragment out there and can be a real nuisance to settlers as going Rogue is contagious among Fragments.
