STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
+ Edarec is tough as nails. While he can be knocked down, incapacitated or anything else that might impede a normal individual it takes a truly grievous punishment to keep him down. Augmenting this resilience is the natural healing factor of the Firrerreo, minor wounds heal in minutes and major ones in hours. Due to the naturally hard lifestyle of the Firrerreo as well as that of Mandalorian culture he's only been made stronger too.
+ An affinity for melee combat. Edarec is equally at him with a lightsaber, sword or engaging in hand to hand combat. Naturally his healing factor assists him in being a skilled combatant. Dueling is where the majority of his considerable skill lies.
+ Wise. Edarec is no more intelligent than the average man however he's known to be wise and capable of offer solid advice. A benefit of his straight forward wisdom is that he also tends to be fairly perceptive of others and can read people to a certain extent.
- Late training in life ensures that Edarec is not as attuned to the force as others. He struggles with more advanced and specialized applications of the force.
- To the Firrerreo the name holds power. Edarec has given up some of that power according to superstition by using his given first name freely however Willamina is not his natural surname and he guards his true last name tirelessly. Nonetheless he would be considered at a disadvantage among his own people.
- Whether due to fate or merely a case of badluck at one point in his life Edarec was afflicted with Brownlung. While he was cured and has since recovered the disease has left its mark on him and his healing factor has never been able to fully compensate. Edarec suffers from occasional coughing fits and bouts of fatigue; he can control the coughing easily enough but the sudden fatigue takes time to recover from depending on the severity.
APPEARANCE
Edarec is slightly taller than average. His form is well muscled but not overly so and the clothing he wears usually make him look slightly smaller than he actually is. He sports a beard most of the time which he keeps trimmed and well maintained. Intimidating is not a word most people would use to describe the man however when roused to anger his features take on a different light which makes him appear imposing.
Not considered handsome in the classical sense he's nonetheless attractive to some degree.
BIOGRAPHY
Edarec was born in a small colony in the Outer Rim. Life was rustic for him as a youth and he learned to work hard and fight hard when the time called for it. He was instilled with a code of ethics by his parents at a young age and learned that not all bad deeds were evil and not all good things came without a price. Due to his upbringing Edarec obtained a grey outlook on life and ensured he was careful not to judge so called bad men as the villains their namesakes described them not did take saints for their face value. In his world Edarec has learned to judge every man on his own merits and flaws.
When he a youth, barely into his early teens the colony where Edarec was raised was destroyed by raiders. Mandalorians who'd been contracted to deal with the threat the same raiders posed to several nearby worlds arrived to late to save his family but they did save him. Edarec was adopted into Clan Willamina where he learned the resol'nare and became one of the Vode spending his formidable years learning the traditions of the Mando'ade and how to fight as one of the elite warriors of the galaxy.
Now, years later and closing in on middle age, he spends time dispensing advice, training the youth and learning of the force to expand his understanding of it. Edarec has been described as something of a pacifist by several of his peers however he has no qualms against answering the call to arms when it is given.
