Description: The SXB-1 was developed to the order of Geneviève Lasedri, by and for the Galactic Liberation Collective, as a multipurpose firearm for street fights and other close-quarter engagements. Its short profile and dual firing capabilities make it versatile and efficient in short-range situations, but it is not extremely accurate and not ideal in open field firefights. The slugthrower aspect was highly prioritized by the Collective for dealing with Sith combatants as they are prominent proponents of slavery.

The scattergun component is positioned on the lower half of the gun with the plasma firing barrel situated on top. For handling, the weapon features a pistol grip and very short, blunt stock. The blaster is fired simply by compressing the index trigger and a switch can be toggled to enable a 3-round burst mode on extended compression. The scattergun is fired by pulling on the pump loader.

The gun's mechanics are very reliable and weather-resistant, however it is very difficult to repair in the rare instances it may have problems due to its interconnected systems.

The casing is easily detachable for the switching of camouflaged exteriors. The gun does not support suppressors.

The blaster is medium-strength and does not significantly affect the user's handling, but the scattergun has a heavy kick.
