Private East of New Aldera

Location: New Aldera, Alderaan
Task: Show Alwine Daye Alwine Daye Sanctuary City and the Mountain Palace

While Ms. Lechner was a visitor she was not an ambassador waiting to be shown the upside of Alderaan with all its glories and presented with the traditional basket of Alderaan delicacies. Though Theo did make sure the basket was in the air speeder. It has a great variety of cheese, breads, some fruits, and of course a bottle of Emerald Wine from the Organa Vinerium. His mother insisted he show her around he would get the whole story from Becca and his Mother later.

He could say that this was just part of his duties but it was a tiny bit more than that. He wanted to know this Agent of Chaos. His mother always accepted everything so easily without very many questions but he wanted to know something. The Agents had not asked for anything for certain. They had not stayed and planted a flag either. He had to respect that.

But there was something right? Maybe if he did show her all the positives of Alderaan she would...what? Feth he didn't really know. She'd see reason to have the Agents come back if there was trouble? Kark if he didn't know what the path was ahead.

His shoulders dropped down as he gave up thinking about it all. He'd have to be resigned to be a guide and figure it all out as he went. In the meantime Ms. Lechner was saying a brief goodbye to his mother and then they'd be off.

One thing this would get him away from Lady DeVoe. PIA that she was Ms. Lechner would be subject to her endless prattling on about this that and the other. But at least her pain would come to an end when the tour with her was over. For some reason this made him smile.

He stood a little straighter wearing the new outfit from cousin Claire he liked how if felt and it was comfortable.

A tour around Alderaan. Alwine had not dreamed this would happen when she'd stepped off the pod the day before, intent on doing everything that was in her power to push off foreign forces and persuade the leaders of the planet to maintain their independence. She had not expected to fail so miserably either, being taken by whoever the security forces that had arrested her were, bruised and held in a cell. THe news that the Agents of Chaos had succeeded in pushing both the Republic and the Imperium off both Alderaan and Kuat had reached while she was in holding. It was only a little bit earlier that she had been released, and so she had not had the time to catch up and understand what exactly had happened.

And yet somehow, she still found herself coming out of that holding cell and right into the direct presence of the Queen of Alderaan. Instead of interrogation, there had been nice conversation. And a small bite to eat. She still did not fully understand it. According to everything she knew, according to everything she had studied, the result of the events for her, on the personal level, were never meant to happen. They did not happen, period. And yet… It had.

A quick shower and some loan clothes later, Alwine looked less like a prisoner rat and more like herself. She stood to the full height of five feet, and had to make sure to keep standing very straight in order to maximise her heights' potential. Her hair had been cleaned, and braided back to keep the small hairs from slapping her face, as she wasn't sure whether or not they would be facing the winds or not. The clothes themselves though, were kept simple enough.Alwine was not one for grandiose dresses and expensive jewelry. She was much too… Sensible, for those.

Arriving at the agreed upon location, she could already see the queen's son, Theo, ready by the speeder. She thougtht she spotted a small package in the speeder, but she made no comment about that. If the Queen had somehow decided to lure her into a honey trap and that everything else had been only to make her falsely believe to be safe, she could handle it. Theo was larger than her, but Alwine had had enough years as a combatant underneath her belt, before she gave it up. Fighting was not her first choice nowadays, but it didn't mean she could absolutely not do it.

"I thank you for taking the time to show me your planet," she said to Theo with a gentle smile and a respectful nod. What she did not add was, and I hope we can keep it out of the hands of those who seek to conquer it. There was no need to.

He watched her move. Her gaze was steady not all over the place like someone waiting for something to happen. Her gait was sightly stiff, maybe it was her nerves. Her hands weren't balled up either so no fight on the horizon.

When she finally reached him and spoke it was a sure tone one that he felt like he had heard before. Why had he not caught that earlier? He nodded back, "I like showing off my home. Its a wonderful place full of history and good ideas."

He motioned for her to get into the air speeder , "this one will keep the bugs out of our teeth while we drive. It will also go above the trees where we need to be. It will give you a, thranta's eye view of Alderaan." If they were lucky they would see some of the thranta. There were only a few pairs on Alderaan now while the species was begin repopulated. Sith killed everything when they terra formed Alderaan.

He looked at her again as he walked towards the Speeder, "Don't mind the basket my mother doesn't want us to starve while we tour. Alderaan artisans, if you're hungry help yourself. Or we can stop along the way or something." He wasn't usually awkward he wasn't really awkward now he just couldn't help but feel that echo in his mind. "We'll go to Sanctuary City first, it's furthest out from here." He glanced over to her and now he would be the dutiful guide and do his official guide voice.

"So" He slid into the drivers seat, "Alderaan this version of it has been occupied by Sith three times, did you know that?" He tell her what he had learned.

"I did not," Alwine answered, now smiling and ever so slightly more relaxed as she got onto the speeder. There had been a few times, after she'd first learned how to pilot, that she left Confederacy space to go see what else was out there. The first times she had managed to get all the way to Coruscant, but then had remained in the dockyard, unable to exit her ship as her heart pounded in excitement at being there at all. Twice she had gone back without seeing the planet itself.

The other little trips she had done mostly included just walking around capital cities. She'd never had a guide before, nor had she thought that such guides even existed. By the time she learned, she'd mostly cursed herself, but there had been precious little time off since she'd joined the Agents of Chaos. Still, a vacation would soon enough be due. She wanted to see more than her current home and all the fields of battle they could provide.

"I was told that it is a key planet, fought over by countless of governments and factions who wished to consume it in one way or another," she explained as their ride began. Going above the trees. She'd had a familiar experience on Coruscant, but not anywhere that had so much nature. The thought of trees and streams was lovely to her.

There was also the question of food. Though Alwine hadn't truly eaten since before the battle, she did not wish to seem like a hungry wolf in the moment. She could hold. A few days of fasting were nothing to the Lupine, who'd had to endure much worse as a child and teenager.

"Have you been trained here?" she asked, attempting to show interest. On Stewjon, the sons and daughters of the Lords caste were often sent elsewhere for fostering. In most cases, it was elsewhere on Stewjon, but perhaps things on Alderaan worked entirely differently.
