SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Uses a constantly charging fixed power cell for a magazine allowing for the weapon to essentially operate for years before needing to swap out parts. However this is limited in each engagement as the power cell allows for up to 45 shots before needing to slow rates of fire to allow it to charge back up. This can take up to 10 seconds.
  • Has a pneumatic ram underneath the barrel used to toss thermal detonators and ion grenades. Works by attaching said grenades to end of ram which has a small electromagnet in it, the ram depresses, and when triggered by the shooter the ram will slam forward launching the grenades up to roughly one hundred meters away.
  • Phrik-B and duraplast construction ensure excessively sturdy frame. This combined with the carbonite coats ensure this will operate in any environment.
STRENGTHS
  • It's sturdy: This weapon uses very cheap but sturdy build materials and robust construction techniques to ensure it will operate in most environments. This coupled with the ability to operate in hostile environments due to the carbonite coating and combat de-ionizers allow it to be used anytime, anywhere.
  • Unlimited Ammo: This weapon's magazine lasts for literal years. Meaning you could pass it off to someone and as long as they don't figure out how to break it, it will shoot for literally years.
WEAKNESSES
  • It's a blaster: All issues with other blasters apply to this one. If the atmosphere of a planet disrupts blaster shots, this won't magically ignore it. Combat de-ionizers only can resist so much, and blasters are still some of the slowest moving projectiles on the market.
  • Limited magazine: This weapon while technically has unlimited ammo, its magazine is limited capacity only allowing 45 shots before the weapon itself needs to recharge. Unlike other weapons you can't just simply swap magazines either, because you have unbolt and extract the magazine for this weapon, meaning you're just gonna have to slow down your rates of fire significantly, or just stop shooting altogether.
DESCRIPTION
A replacement for the almost ancient E-5 blaster rifle, the Confederacy of Independent Systems would put out a contract for a new standard issue blaster rifle for its droid armies. This contract would require the weapon to be able to be produced by most companies in CIS space, which would result in the E-95 blaster rifle. A simple, cheap to produce and robust weapon system. It was decently accurate, and had to the ability to fire actual grenades as most standard droids (such as the B-1) were much worse at doing that than regular people. All in all a good all around weapon for most blaster consumers.
