  • Primary Source: N/A
  • Manufacturer: Dynetech Industries
  • Affiliation: Closed-Market
  • Model: Powerstaff Mk I

  • Production: Semi-Unique
  • Material: Phrik, Ultrasonic Vibration Generator, Plasma Energy Binders
  • Classification: Staff
  • Size: Large {1.82m}
  • Weight: Light {8lbs}
  • Whip Modification: This quarterstaff is composed of several independent Phrik links. Using plasma energy binders, these links can be separated to allow the weapon to fall limp and work In the same function of an energy whip.
  • Internal Switch: Geared towards Force Users, this quarterstaff has an internal switch that can be triggered via The Force to activate the weapon's whip function.
  • Light but durable: This Quarterstaff is made with a Phrik casing. This casing makes the weapon extremely resistant to lightsaber and blaster fire, as well as maintaining a light weight to boot.
  • Reinforced lining: EMP blasts have little effect on this weapon, so long as the whip is not deployed than the reinforced Phrik casing will keep the energy cells safe from EMO/ION weaponry.
  • Overcharge: The whip function of the quarterstaff is utilized via plasma energy binders, these binders are only capable of remaining active for a limited amount of time. After being deployed, the energy binds have 60 seconds before they must be re-joined and given a 5 second cool down time. After that sixty second window expires, it could result in the weapon becoming overcharged and the energy binders failing.
Perhaps one of the greatest assets in combat is to have an ace under your sleeve. The Dynetech power staff is geared towards a specific market of customers. The staff itself is made of several Phrik links that are only five inches in length. All of the interior links are embedded with their own energy transmitter for the Plasma Energy Binders. There are two ways for the staff's whip mode to be activated. One of the end-links to the staff holds an activation pad that will effectively force the Phrik links to separate, yet stay bound through active energy tethers. The second means of activation, which is favored and designed with Force User's in mind, is an internal activation switch which can only be triggered via The Force. Once active, the opposite end from the activation link will activate it's vibration generator, making it deadly to the touch and extremely formidable.
