- Miners: The Dvergr droids are able to work in a multitude of environments, from the depths of space to the heat of a molten planet without endangering organic life. The drones are equipped with manipulators and a mining laser, enabling them to break down the minerals or metals for transport back to their mothership.
- Hive: The Legion networking software allows the Dvergr drones to work together as if they were controlled by one mind, able to handle obstructions and problems by utilising multiple droids to overcome them. The Legion also allows for a map of a derelict or asteroid to be built up quickly, allowing the Knockers and their owners to respond to areas that need their attention such as areas of high mineral concentration quickly.

- Just a drone: The Dvergr droids have a limited speed, limited carrying capacity and no hyperdrive. They can only stage off ships, and need to return often to offload their storage.
- War, huh?: The Dvergr Drones have very limited armour and no combat shields. While they are able to shrug off small-arms fire for some time, but against serious weapons-fire or starships weapons will burn them down fast.

Space was filled with resources, asteroids and old ships abounded for those that were able to find and use them. The trick was what to do with the resources when you find them, you could hire miners to work in the cold of space. Miners, however, needed accommodations and to be paid, to be provided with living facilities. Droids were cheaper and needed less investment by those looking to mine the resources.
Enter the Dvergr , a hive based mining drone that could be unleashed in sufficient numbers to swiftly extract the resources you needed and return them to a freighter or factoryship to be used later.
Simple. Efficient. Cheap.
