HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Intent: To provide new way of monitoring and tracking a target during battles, espionage missions, and otherwise
Development Thread: If necessary
Manufacturer: Omega Tech
Model: DUST
Affiliation: Omega Protectorate
Modularity: Comes in normal dust form, in pill form, pellet form for use in slugthrowers, and grenade form to use
Production: Mass Produced
Material: Permaglass, electric transmitter
Description: Dust has been used first during the Clone Wars by Republic Commando, not much its changed in its appearance or usage since those times.

The contemporary dust is still similar to powdered permaglass in appearance, used to monitor, track, and tag targets, on and off battlefields.

However, due to the advances in technology, improvements in design could be made. The modern DUST utilizes long-range transmitters, improved power supply, and electro-static generators, enabling them to be used over long distances, stay active for longer periods of time, and cling better to surfaces.

The range of modern DUST has been extended to cover a single solar system, enabling tracking from anywhere on the same planet, however, once the target enters the hyperspace, the signal is lost, utilizing a second tracker to determine the realspace re-entry location of the target so that monitoring can resume.

The DUST still marks its targets over the longest period of time when inhaled or injected and can be detected in EM filter with its pinkish brown hue, its biggest weakness.

The DUST has been designed as a versatile method of monitoring, able to be turned into pill form, used to crush for quick use of powder or ingested, pellet form in order to be launched over long range with a slugthrower, or used in grenades to mark a larger area.
