OP Force abilities like teleportation and time travel.
Obviously the force is space wizardry but I like to have just an ounce of realism involved. Scale it back to being far less overpowered and verging in God-like.

Anyone remember that goofy lighting cannon that was tacked onto the M. Falcon with the help of a meatball-robo jedi? As silly as the EU could be I never really found it insulting or anything. IPs can be creativly restricting for professional writers.
