[Duel][Dev Thread] Songs of the Sirens

It had been several years since little Saera had been born. She was a clone of both Circe and Aynea, but moreover, she was the alchemized hybrid of both species; something never done before. Unlike any other clone ever crafted, she grew fast, but only for a short time of acceleration more. She was a near perfect copy - with a few small additions - but had better health than other clones bore.
The lonely little Vinferalathi sat snugly on the floor, the walls of the castle-monastery built for her by her wealthy progenitors wide around her. The cloudy blue hue of the outside light shone as bright beams cutting into the room like daggers. Her ears twitched at every echo through its halls, standing up the fur. She leapt up hastily at a large thuds of the mahogany doors crackling open behind her, but tripped on herself and staggered.
"M-mom! Uh... you're finally back," she said timidly as she scratched the back of her head and trivially smiled.

Smiling, Circe walked forward, placing her arms around her loving daughter as she gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Hello there, darling. I love you..." Her smile beamed even more as she lovingly embraced her daughter. "It was an annoying trip, but hey, it was worth it, knowing that you're here." She loved her daughter immensely, and would do almost anything for her. "So, Mommy has some off time right now. What would you like to do with her, darling?"

Spending time with her daughter... heh, she'd done a poor job of doing so, leaving Aynea the 'mother' parent.

Saera gleefully wrapped her arms around her mother's torso, resting her head on Circe's breast. Her wide, beady eyes looked up into her mother's own. She was as happy as could be, their own happy little family, the remote little castle as their nest. With each day, more she had grown. Today, she was going to grow in a different way, her skills being put to the test.
"Mommy Circe, won't you teach me something new today? You promised."
Her undeniable smile made it hard to say no. After all, who could not love little Saera, for a Sith's daughter she was truly innocent and quite pleasant.

"Oh, alright." It was true - Circe really couldn't help but give in to the darling little girl that was her daughter Saera. She was so sweet, so innocent, so... so terribly adorable. Giving her daughter another kiss on the forehead, she smiled, giving the Vinferalathi a tender embrace. "Well, darling, tell me, what do you want Mommy to teach you?" She smiled, ready to give the young girl all the snuggles she'd ever need.

After all, mothers were there to give their children love and affection.

"Mommy," little Saera said, rocking back and forth in her mother's arms. "Teach me about the White Current."
The girl had no idea, in truth, what it was. She only knew that it sounded interesting, and that her mother knew it well. She had heard Mommy Ashelotte talk about it once before in her bedtime stories. The little vinferalathi knew it had something to do with the Force, but how exactly, she couldn't tell.

She paused for a moment, then smiled. "Well, Saera, the White Current is like a river. We are like pebbles in the river. The best way to affect the river is to immerse ourselves in the current, to let it fill us, wash over us. We can become invisible through usage of the current, so too can we create almost-real illusions. There's a lot we can do."

Pausing, she brought a ball to her hand. "Hold your hand out, honey."
