STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

+Survivalist. Drystan spent a good deal of time among the children of nature, and as a result has a good understanding of the less technological side of the galaxy. Hunting, fishing, and some of the more personal forms of combat are all topics he learned first-hand.

+Training. Despite having only recently secured a position with the Order of Fire, Drystan has grown up in a culture where martial skill is a prime way to make one's name. From a young age, he has had a keen interest in conflict, and studied many forms of combat to varying levels.

-/+Eldorai. Like most of his people, Drystan has a naturally athletic build, possessing well above human level dexterity and hand-eye coordination, in addition to an internal system that makes him hard to poison or fall ill. However, his skeletal frame is also somewhat frail, and despite his attempts to become stronger, he has a relatively low pain tolerance.

-Pyrophobia. It may be a result of the gigantic flaming meteor that crashed into his homeworld with enough force to obliterate it, but Drystan isn't too comfortable around fire. It dosen't matter if you outfit him with the best fire-resistant gear in the galaxy, you'd better find someone else to charge into a burning room.

-Leadership. Whether due to some quirk of life, or growing up in a heavily matriarichal society, Drystan will rarely be one who volunteers to lead, preferring by far to follow.

APPEARANCE:
Tall, and with a slender form, on another world Drystan might have been mistaken as a gymnast or a dancer. Instead, he is very much a warrior, standing tall and proud in usually tight-fitting clothing. His jet black hair is long, though kept in a pony-tail when combat is a possibility, and most of his body up to the neck is tattooed, with his face painted in war paint on occasion.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born the second child and first son of a merchant family on Kaeshana, Drystan would have had a relatively normal upper middle class life had it not been for the discovery that he was attuned to the Force. Instead, he was whisked away and indoctrinated into the Cult of Ashira, the force sensitive organization of the Eldorai.

Thus, his early years were busy. Taught that his abilities in the Force combined with his gender made martial prowess the most productive path in life, the first two decades of life were filled with study and training. Literacy, arithmetic, history, all of the basics were taught, but also he was taught to control his powers, to prevent the outbursts that occasionally plagued those sensitive to the Force.

Entering his twentieth year, the young Drystan was permitted to attend the prestigious college of Santaissa. It was during his time studying that he determined that what his teachers had often told him had been true: Martial service was the path to prestige. While studying history, he also took the time to learn more physical skills, even going so far as to be caught up in a minor scandal when it was discovered that he and several other students had been participating in an underground boxing ring with offworlders at the spaceport. Perhaps ironically, it was his ilicit knowledge of the spaceport that allowed him to hurry his family through the spaceport as their world burned.

With the college he had been planning on graduating from in ruins on a dead world, Drystan took a year and traveled to the forests of Tygara. Living among the primitive Vashyada people have him an important lesson in survival, utilizing basic tools and weapons to survive. While some of his fellow Eldorai looked down at him for his time among their more...simple cousins, it didn't take long for him to "go native." Indeed, by the time he had left, the young man had tattooed his body in a variety of tribal styles, right up to his neck. Occasionally, he even sports a pair of crimson feathers in his hair, a gift from a tribal elder after his first successful hunt.

Eventually, however, he had to return to civilization, and with his arrival home, his parents (who were less than thrilled that their son had become primitive) announced that they had secured him an initiate-ship with Firemane Industries...

Great work on the bio!

Only thing I'd suggest is to up the age by 30 years. Eldorai age about 1/3 as quick as humans, so 28 equals about 9-10 in human years.

58 meanwhile is 19-20 in human years, much more suited.

Otherwise, great writing, looking forward to writing with you!
