Another species that has existed in the deep oceans of Argyra IV for millenia, Drygari are the primary natural predator of Plagyra. The species primarily drift through the deep oceans and emit a faint, glowing light from their antenna. Plagyra find this light to be nearly irresistible and approach the Drygari as if transfixed by their antenna. Once within reach, a Drygari will then lurch forward and bite its prey. If the prey is too large to be swallowed in one go, or resists being eaten, the Drygari will wrap around its food, grabbing hold of it with its small, numerous legs, and stab at its prey with its poisonous tail until it stops struggling and can be eaten at the Drygari's leasure.

Notable Player-Characters: None

Intent: To create aquatic life to help fill out the environment of a planet obviously focused on Aquatic sentient life.

I apologize for the wait! This submission is UNDER REVIEW, and you will be tagged by myself or another Codex judge when one of two things happens:

1) There are edits being requested.

2) There are no (further) edits required.

Thank you for your patience. :)

Good stuff! Just a couple things...

1) As I said in your Plagyra submission, natural predation (being eaten by other creatures) is not something I would consider a weakness. Please think of something else, and don't be afraid to ask if you're having trouble thinking of something to replace that as a weakness!

2)

...there's a word missing.

If the pray is too large to be swallowed in one go
...if I'm not mistaken, I don't think prayer can be eaten. ;)

Take care of these edits, and this submission should be good to go!
