HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Evolved on the moon of Ord Providence, Sellia II, the Drogymandyr is a flying amphibious creature believed to have first developed around 5-7,000 BBY. When discovered by the first of the Prov Godoan settlers to Ord Providence in 4 ABY, their docile and friendly nature, along with an appearance that was culturally accepted as cute by many of the new locals, gave them a semi-sacred status amongst the people of the planet. Retreats often occur to Sellia II to document their lives and for the education of the youth, with the Drogymandyr seeming indifferent if not enthralled by the attention. The Sellites, the GAR worshiping culture that settled on the moon, seem to be neutral on their view of the creatures, leaving them to their insect hunting and mid-day lounging. Congregations of Drogymandyr are known to gather in large numbers and cling to the walls of the Sellian Jedi Praxeum, where visiting younglings are just as enamored by the beasts as the local Prov Godoan youth are. There's a growing push at the Sellian Praxeum to integrate the creature into their official symbol.
