OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Driunasi iw Dijomatsa - Whisper of Decay
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Amaltanna
  • Average Lifespan: 500 Galactic Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Unique
  • Description: The Driunasi is a horrific amalgamation of flesh, tentacles, and gaping maws. Poison gases and liquids leak from the corners of his mouths and his beady eyes promise a nightmare of ailments. Sith markings cover his body, imbuing him with further power and announcing his allegiance to any who have the misfortune to encounter him.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I and Type II
  • Average Height of Adults: 4.1 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: 1.7 meters
  • Skin color: Sickly pale grayish skin
  • Hair color: No hair
  • Distinctions: The most distinctive physical traits of the Driunasi are the tentacles it uses to move and grip victims, and the large maw that dominates its abdomen. This terrifying fanged mouth constantly is dripped with liquid poisons while vapors of gas will occasionally from it, with the same attributes describing the smaller mouth on its head.
  • Races: No other races
  • Force Sensitivity: All (There is only one individual)
Strengths:
  • Like all Project Aura Sithspawn, the Driunasi is immensely powerful in the dark side of the Force and has chosen powers to master that compliment its affinities for poisons and debilitation:
    Force Plague
  • Force Blinding
  • Force Insanity
  • Waves of Darkness
  • Aura of Uneasiness
  • Sith Magic

[*]The Driunasi contains several different potent neurotoxins and poisons within its body that it can release either in a gaseous form or in a liquid state, while also having immunity to most poisons and toxins due to its Hutt genetics
  • Senflax
  • Swamp Gas
  • Sleeping Gas
  • Death Mist

[*]Due to its Hutt genetics, and accelerated through the dark side alchemy involved in its creation, the Driunasi can regenerate parts of its body rapidly if they are damaged.
[*]Its tentacles and limbs are surprisingly strong and flexible, able to keep a firm hold onto its victims.
Weaknesses:
  • If exposed to a ysalamiri void bubble or void stone, it will lose its control over the dark side of the Force. It will also lose its advanced regeneration ability, making it much easier to kill.
  • Unlike its fellows, the Driunasi does not have armor covering it, instead relying on its thick hide and regenerative powers for protection. However, this means that blasters, slugthrowers, and lightsabers have a greater effect on it.
  • Direct applications of the light side of the Force can wound it, but just like with its fellow Project Aura Sithspawn, it takes more attacks of this nature to debilitate it or force it to flee.
  • Oddly enough, it attacked by a water-based weapon or attack, it will temporarily lose its ability to project the various poisons and neurotoxins contained within its body.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore, Force Energies
  • Communication: Can speak and understand Basic and High Sith
  • Technology level: While it has access to Galactic Standard technology, much like its fellows, it eschews the use of technology.
  • Religion/Beliefs: As with all Project Aura Sithspawn, upon its creation, the Driunasi began to venerate the Sith Lords and Ladies as its deities. The Druinasi believes that it is the embodiment of the Sith's quiet and insidious nature, and through his use of poisons, toxins, and debilitating Force techniques, he can eliminate the enemies of the Sith through a quiet and horrific means. Every being that succumbs to its maladies, it believes, become chained servants of the Sith in the Netherworld, forever bound to their new dark masters and reinforcing the creeping miasma of the dark side.
  • General behavior: The Druinasi dislikes moving, preferring to remain in a dark lair near a population center that is under the enemy of the Sith or place of toxicity where it can gather new toxins. Once established in a lair, it will begin spreading its influence among the nearby population, crippling and poisoning them. Sometimes, it will elect to recruit cultists, using its knowledge of Sith magic to bind them, altering them in a similar way as a Sith familiar so it may project its maladies through them.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As the next subject of Project Aura, Taeli began searching for an exceptionally rare Force Sensitive: one of the Hutt species. Knowing the species did not produce many Force Sensitives, it took a good time before her network of Adepts located one and brought him before their dark master on Amaltanna. The Hutt, known as Kooga the Hutt, was intrigued by the Lady of Secrets' offer of power, believing she was offering him wealth and a chance to grow a power base within the Sith Empire. Greedily, he signed himself over to her experiment, not knowing what was in store for him.

Taken to the Project Aura ritual chamber, he was surprised to encounter a captive Gree from the fall of the Rebels that occupied the Gree Enclave and canisters of various poisons and toxins. Before he could question what they were for, the Triumvir of Power paralyzed the Hutt and drew him into the circle of Sith runes and pools of blood with the other captive. Unleashing her spell, the Hutt and Gree were lost in a twisting whirlwind of dark side energies and energized blood. Into that mixture, the Adepts poured the poisons as the Lady of Secrets focused on the melding and warping of the subjects to accept the poisons within the new body, creating reservoirs within that it could store and produce more of the insidious substances.

When the ritual was ended, and the shaping chrysalis broke, the new monstrosity known as the Driunasi iw Dijomatsa was born. A terrifying amalgamation, the new beast had become exactly what the Lady of Secrets desired from the subject. A master of poisons and ailments, the Driunasi desired to spread contagion and misery to the enemies of the Sith, to unleash its dark powers upon unsuspecting fools that desired freedom and light.
