Drinks Make Everything Better-(TJE and Allies Welcome)

The Daedalus was the first of the new Arganian Class Defense Stations being built by the Jen'ari Empire, a massive military instillation designed to set up orbit above a newly claimed world, and ensure its compliance with Imperial rule. Numerous weapon emplacements, troop bays, and the fact that any planetary government the remained on the world were transferred to the station, where they could 'rule' with the support and guidance of the Jen'ari. As well, there were numerous civilian industries on the station, recreational areas, shopping districts, everything needed to make it a small city in space. The stations were to begin mass production soon, but for now the Daedalus would be the first, and it hung in orbit over the new capital of the Jen'ari Empire. To celebrate its completion, Darth Animus had organized a celebration on the station, with all allies and members of the Jen'ari Empire welcomed.

Animus stood quietly in center of the primary civilian mall center, hundreds of tables spread out in every direction and dozens of shops open for business, with station and planetary personnel moving freely through the mess. Civilians from the ground below were also present, though not in great quantities just yet. The station was still undergoing final checks, and so mostly only construction and military personnel were on board. However, the lower number of staff meant there was plenty of room for party guests to enjoy themselves, with even a few live entertainments groups performing in the few open spaces left to them.

Bringing the drink in his hand up to his lips, Animus took a long sip of the light blue liquid, enjoying the burn as it ran down his throat. It was going to be an interesting day.

Jack strolled into the Daedalus' open area with Nicole, he was dressed pretty simply, a black suit with a blue tie, he carried no weapons, except for his lightsabers hanging off of his belt, like the members of the 701st battalion that he brought with him having a vibrosword as part of their dress uniform, it looked nice and kept a weapon on hand so if things went south they weren't unarmed, but didn't draw the same attention a gun or blaster did.

"Hopfully this ain't gonna be onna those boring fancy parties where it's a two drink max and fist fighting gets yeah thrown out." Jack muttered to no in in particular as he scanned the room.

Nicole had been busy lately, with her role as Captain on The Eternal Fury came more and more work for her, sign off on this check this, find advisors, blow up star destroyers, it was all a lot to handle, but she knew she was up to the task of making the ship function properly. None-the-less she thought she could use a drink, also she knew that there was one person who could always brighten her day right up, so when she got the news of the opening ceremony she knew that she and Jack were to attend. After sending the Holo to Jack she would roll out of her bed and waltzed her way to the bathroom adjoined to her room, as she did most days she took a moment to take in her body, making her way slowly from her short blonde hair to her well-defined collarbones to her exposed midriff with the scar streaming across it, all the way to her painted black toenails.

She very quickly showered and upon exiting looked up to where her dress uniform was hanging on display, it was a gleaming white in color, a perfectly Ironed and hung coat lined with several rows of metals with a skirt that hung just above the knee. She had worn this uniform many a time, so making up her face for the occasion took no time nor did getting dressed as a level of protection she strapped a small blaster to her inner thigh and armor under her coat. Soon she was on a shuttle heading for the planet where she met Jack

As they made their way inside she smiled, it felt good to get off the bridge for awhile. She looked at him with a grin as they headed in

"Ah who am I kiddin'? 'Course it is, it's a damn state function, but it's not all bad, I got you with me." Jack was hardly a romantic but he did try to say something nice, and even though he could get out of trouble by shaking his sabres around but he knew Nicole was hardly in the same situation as him, the upper ranks of the military was some real cut throat politics poodoo, and appearances were important, that was why Jack was dressed halfway respectable for once. As Jack looked around he immediately spotted several of the 701st clumped up by the bar and he would have liked to have been, but instead he showed some self control for once and stuck with Nicole as what seemed like an endless number of officials started to show up to exchange pleasantries.

"I may be able to pull some strings love," She said looking around, she was greeted by several officers, she knew that Jack would want to go to the bar so she steered them both in that direction. The blonde was a big hit with the officers, she had a level of experience that many of the others were lacking, for she started out behind the stick of a starfighter and wound up on the bridge of the largest most dangerous ship in the fleet, this was an accomplishment not many could boast.

Upon reaching the bar she was greeted by a man older than her, he was dressed in a white uniform just as she was but his stripes showed he was only a Lieutenant. He greeted her respectfully with an "Evening Captain" His words full of respect and awe. For she was the youngest person to ever become a captain under the empire. Once the conversation was over she would lean over and whisper in Jack's ear "I have something for you later for showing so much self-control love." she purred.

"You work yer officer magic sweety." Jack said with a half smirk Nicole seemed to have some skills in one area Jack was sorely lacking, that being social, though going from a scum of the galaxy mercenary to the head of his own Private Military Contractor, and the fact that he was a Sith, did mean that at least he was give some respect, he just was less adept at wielding it as anything other than a club, Nicole on the other hand seemed to treat it more like a scalpel. Jack slipped away for a moment while Nicole was distracted by the lieutenant and over to the bar to grab a couple of drinks, a couple of Corellian Speeder Bombs before returning just in time for Nicole to turn and whisper in his ear.

"Oh? An' is that a threat or a promise?" Jack whispered back playfully as he pressed the drink into her hand.

Nicole graciously took the drink, she grinned at him thinking how lucky she was to have him. She took a sip of her drink and responded "A promise" she said quietly, she scanned the room looking for activity though all the officers seemed fixated on her. She could not understand why "Babe why are they looking at me?"

"Most be-utiful woman in tha galaxy walks into the party, with a sith, an yer tellin' me ya didn't expect ta turn heads, you gotta be kidden me." Jack said as if the answer was completely obvious, he sure as hell could understand why so many heads would be turned.

Nicole blushed bright red as he complimented her, she took a sip of her drink and thought for a moment, her blue eyes gleamed in the warm light of the room, she still couldn't see why anyone would want to be with her, she was course and unrefined but she smiled and stepped toward Jack "Hey therelove"

"Oi it's true though innit? Beautiful with the wit an' power to match it." Jack said as he took a mouthfull of his own drink, the shot glass that contained the creamy Corellian whisky that was dropped into the stout clinked around in side the pint glass.

The Daedalus, the first of its kind. A massive station that loomed over the planet it orbited. It hung there, a reminder of the power of the Jen’Ari. Or so Adenn had been told. Thus far, Adenn had not seen the station yet, but that was going to change soon. Adenn had been invited to the celebration aboard the station. Curious as to what this station was, Adenn had decided to accept the invitation and head to the place. That’s why he found himself here, aboard the bridge of the Aegis Eternum, enroute to its current location. They were about to arrive, that’s why Adenn stood there, waiting.

Then, with a rush of sound, the Aegis Eternum left hyperspace and was treated to its first view of the Daedalus. Upon seeing the station, Adenn whistled quietly to himself. The station was massive, no other word could truly describe it. Adenns musing was interrupted by a beeping, it came from the communications panel. Turning towards it, he watched as the comms officer responded to the questions. The comms officer then sent all the necessary code checks before it was confirmed. It took a moment, but then they were confirmed and allowed to be there.

Once that was done, they were given a hanger bay where any shuttles they sent over could land. With that information, Adenn nodded his head in thanks to the communications officer before making his way to his hanger. On the way there, Adenn made sure he had everything ready to go; armor, check, lightsaber, check, wrist weapons and blasters, check. He was ready for a battle, even if this was a semi-formal meeting. They had invited a Mandalorian, thus they would get a Mandalorian.

Before long, Adenn was in the hanger. There, a shuttle was already prepared for him. So, boarding quickly, the shuttle took off and headed towards the previously indicated hanger. The trip there took less than 2 minutes, but in that time Adenn read up on everything he could about the station. As well, he found schematics of the place so he could find his way around. It was at that moment that the shuttle arrived; once the ramp opened, Adenn made his way out of the shuttle and into the station.

It took him five minutes, but Adenn finally made his way into the primary civilian mess hall. The semi-formal celebration would be taking place there. Already there were several guests there, mostly officers and the like, though Adenn did spot a Darth in the center of the table mess. No doubt that was the one who had organized the whole shebang; however, rather than immediately go there like some lost pup, Adenn looked around deciding on what to do.

There was a bar for people to go to, and music playing. At first, Adenn wanted to head to the bar, but then saw just how many people were there, and half of them officers. That would simply be no fun for him. Sighing to himself, Adenn looked around and decided to move over to a smaller bar. Incidentally this bar was more like a vendor, and it happened to be near the Darth in the middle of the room.

At the bar, Adenn ordered a small shot glass of ale. After paying, Adenn took the shot glass and slowly made his way away. He walked near the Darth in the center. Looking the man up and down, Adenn decided to simply speak with him.
“Greetings Darth. Thanks for the invitation. I’m Adenn, one of the people invitited to this celebration. Though it seems there are more spots than there are people. No doubt more will come, but I must ask. How many were invited?”

Hmmm, maybe being social wasn't as hard as Jack remembered it usually being, but that didn't matter now it might have just been the booze in him that was taking the edge off, after all, Jack did do a little pre-drinking and get himself a little socially lubricated before walking in. "C'mon let's have some actual fun 'steada jus standin 'ere."

This was not really something Salis was known for, visiting in this manner that is. She was a warrior, or at least that was the closest description short of psycho. They were sith though, a little crazy was expected. Her eyes glanced from individual to individual, as she walked further inwards, there were two people who seemed to be flirting at the bar, a mandalorian who had gone to speak to Darth Animus, interesting choice that was. Oh well.

She was not one to bother about appearing any less sinister to others, nevertheless, wearing her entire armory seemed a bit much at times like this. Though she'd gladly get into a fight she doubted there was any chance she'd need much more then her lightsaber(s) at her side.

While in this moment she did not wear the normal mask she had on, she did have a type of veil over her mouth. She had begun the tendency of covering up her mouth and sometimes nose when what appeared to be scars starting forming, doubtless from her constant use of the dark side. And in her own way, she felt she was in a way accentuating these scars by hiding them. Especially once they got especially apparent. The rest she wore was just her sith robes with the hood down.

Salis walked, got a drink, and found somewhere to sit down where she could watch everything progress. She felt like trying to talk to someone, but it seemed all the interesting people were busy. She did consider messing with an officer though, that might have it's own interest.
