"Having a good night?"

"Oh yeah," Mirellia confirmed, leaning a bit more easily into the chairs back and giving him a wider grin. She knew nothing of the force spare exercises to guide her mind, and even that she wasn't sure she was doing right. I mean like, there was no way to test run it, right? Tap tap tap is this thing on kinda deal...

She blinked hard and pulled herself straighter, that grin and stare lasting for a moment to long. "Ho boy I think I need some water," she commented, laughing it off and moving to pull out the chair. "You mind?" Either way, she sat herself down, her throat suddenly decidedly parched as she waved down the bar tender.

"Water please. No straw." The tender gave a nod, moving out to grab her a glass. "Gotta save the turtles," she whispered to Merlin with a wink. The glass was clunked down. She picked it up and chugged, the ice hurting her teeth. With a gasp, she put it back down, the cold hitting her mind and waking her up.

"I'm Mirellia," she offered, reaching out and giving the stranger a polished hand.

reciving one of the three small glasses from Kiegan, while sitting on Kaia Starchaser Kaia Starchaser s lap, Aola downed her shot. Making grimace as the liquid ran down her throat and into her stomach, warming her up nicely, before producing a lighthearted laugh, "yees, let's get more drinks over here" cheered Aola as she felt the shot's alcoholic effect started to work on her. Taking another shot from the tray, Aola down it just as quickly as the first, placing the glass up-side-down, making her face grimace for just a second or two, before going back to her lighthearted state.

However, pre-drinking did not do the Twi'lek any favours, quite the opposite actually as got procedurally drunker and drunker, causing her to be much more carefree than she used to be. Looking at Kaia, biting her lower lip, "have anybody ever told you~ who turned down the music?" Asked Aola all of a sudden out loud, before she finished her question for Kaia. The bartender gave Aola a raised eyebrow as the music hadn't been changed, but did increase the volume as a new song came on. "I love this song" expressed the Twi'lek, with a cheery tone in her voice, "wanna dance?" Asked Aola, giving Kaia a flash of lust in her eyes.

The blue Twi'lek leaned in, so her lips were by Kaia's ear, "it could just be the two of us out there" whispered Aola, locking eyes with Kiegan Lysle Kiegan Lysle as she nipped Kaia's earlobe with her soft full lips, giving Kiegan a blink, before pulling back again on Kaia's lap.

She wasn’t the one to normally have someone on her lap. Kaia was a small girl, well, at least she thought so, and with her weight and being in space more often than not, she was definitely smaller than most. As Blondie Boy was out helping the one she just knew she recognized serve drinks, she gave a cheekie grin and accepted the shot. Unlike the kids on the Colony world, Kaia had no problem downing the drink and masking the shock of it. Not that she had a hard time handling her booze, won plenty of fuel money gambling and drink-betting. Maybe some of it was cheating with the Force.

Maybe.

“Make sure you come back.” She called to Trextan, still needing to figure out who he was.

“As for you two, was that too strong for you?” She laughed before being assaulted by the cute and flirty ways of the Twi’lek. She was flattered and all together too flustered to be smooth about this. But with the nips on her ears, her body was definitely responding. “Not sure I know this dance, can you show me?” She was able to squeeze out, Kiegan and Trextan now lost to her.

Marl had just came out of retirement a week earlier and already he was at a bar, on a world he wasn't familiar with. Marl, or CC-4938 which is what he answered to during the Clone Wars 900 years ago, had been with SJO since he thawed out of carbonite all those years ago. Marl was a Sergeant in the Antarian Rangers until he retired, feeling like he needed a rest and Acclimate himself to this strange world. He quickly learned, however, a man bred for war, had a hard time hoeing without giving himself flashbacks of digging trenches. Marl watched as the Holo-Advertisements flickered outside. Was he meant to be nothing more than a soldier? Or was it truly his passion. Marl could not decide if he either didn't know or didn't want to know. Besides he had catching up to do. To be an effective soldier, you have to trust the men and women you fight with, this was easier said than done when 95% of the time, you were working along side of exact copies of yourself. However to build trust like that organically you have to bond with your brothers and sisters in arms.

Marl walked into the bar, it was surprisingly big, stuffed with both regular patrons and SJO, most of whom he didn't recognize, and the few he did they were only quick glances in the halls since he's been back. He quickly looked for fellow SJO's to chat with. He quickly noticed a small Blue Twi'lek girl dragging a seemingly less than happy Mirialan to the dance floor. To even look at the dance floor would require at least 7 shots from Marl. He looked back at where the 2 girls came from, only 2 men sitting alone now, dumped by what Marl could only assume were their dates? And lastly he noticed a man and a woman talking by the bar. Marl was never good at interjecting himself into a conversation, so he decided to bring the conversation to him. He walked up to the bar "1 shot of rancor blood" Marl said as he continued surveying the crowd. after the Bartender prepared it and gave it to him. Marl quickly downed it, threw some credits on the table and yelled "All SJO personnel! One shot on me tonight!" After hearing the groans and complains of the other patrons, Marl was actually excited to make some new friends.

Mirellia glanced back over her shoulder, a look of longing in her eyes.

Oof, what a loss. She was just a measly politician, not a speck of jedi potential to her veins. ...No free drink for her.

She shot Aola Shala an amused smile, waggling a playful brow as her friend found a playmate. See, she was right. The Twi'lek just needed to cut loose and blow off some steam. And honestly, who didn't?

"And what about us Silver supporters, hm?" Her tone was light and teasing, the woman turning and leaning casually against the bar as she addressed the newcomer, Marl Marl . "I've slaved all week over a law that increases jedi funding, so many pages added to that addendum, and my fingers hurt so bad." Her playful pout was nothing if not obvious, the woman not even taking herself seriously as she learned across the bar with an extended hand.

"Help a girl out."

Shots pls.

Marl waited patiently while he waited for new people, his excitement slowly creeped into anxiety. Marl was a trained clone commander, capable of devising a strategy and leading regiments of over 2,000 men on the battlefield, however there was one thing that he still has yet to overcome... Social interaction. Marl can't seem to hold a conservation unless its about something he's familiar with... and the only thing he's known his whole life is war. He ordered another shot (he asked for the bartender's choice) and told the bartender to leave the bottle here. Marl continued pondering about what he might say. when suddenly he heard:

"And what about us Silver supporters, hm?"

He quickly looked over to see a petite brunette, looking at him playfully. At first his face didn't move, he was reminded of the girls who would go into clone bars on Coruscant just to get as many free drinks as they could. He was about to shut her down when she continued:

"I've slaved all week over a law that increases Jedi funding, so many pages added to that addendum, and my fingers hurt so bad."

This caught Marl's attention. From the expression on his face he looked impressed. Not the fact that she was a politician, or possibly flirting with him, but she was talking about paperwork, something Marl was very fond of. Many of the Clone Wars historians accurately portrayed clone commanders lives on the battlefield, few talk about the numerous amounts of paper work they had to go through; battle plans, field reports, daily briefings were all part of what a Clone Commander had to read and write off of the warfront. Few commanders had the appreciation of writing paperwork that Marl did. Marl quickly found out that you can figure out your mistakes and find your foes weaknesses quicker through the information in his paperwork. In fact, he was known in the Antarian Rangers for his love of paperwork back when he was stationed on Kashyyyk. She continued:

"Help a girl out."

Marl who was reluctant to share a shot with stranger originally, lightened up to the idea quickly. Marl who felt quite alone in the galaxy, could use a friend, if only for the night.

"A friend of the Jedi, is a friend of mine!" Marl proclaimed happily as he poured them both a shot. as he finished pouring the first shot he quickly realized he didn't know what he was going to say, as he became more and more nervous he accidentally overpoured her shot, making a small mess on the table. "Oops bit of a misfire, heh," He awkwardly chuckled. he gave her the shot and raised his own shot glass. "To new friends," He said giving her a friendly smile.

Taking the womans hand he shook it. "Merlin."

This was when someone else joined offering free drinks to anyone in the SJO. He quietly sipped his drink as they greeted each other over paperwork. They were in a bright mood and he watched the awkward chuckle. Meeting new people was always awkward and it was easier done with a few drinks behind you than cold turkey. That was half the reason those who came alone came to these places after all. He could appreciate that.

There was a buzz on his communicator with just a message left. Frowning he had hoped he had more time to get out of his own head for a while, albeit with other people or himself and perhaps learn a little more. Time had run out and perhaps it was best he left those here to their merrymaking.

Besides - he was feigning a good mood and right now it would perhaps be better to drink alone after the needed stop over. He wasn't likely to get much information gathering done in this frame of mind anyway. Merlin finished his drink and quietly slipped from the table, allowing the other two to naturally get to chatting and the others to continue their flirting. Perhaps another time.

Kiegan couldn't help but project a profound look of inner thoughtfulness out towards nobody in particular as he found himself with two beautiful women in his lap, but neither of them any longer interested in him. It was a tough life to live, unable to find love despite being fully available for it. As Kiegan began to ponder the deeper mysteries of life, he instead decided to grab another drink. Didn't matter what it was or who's it was. He wanted another.

Perhaps it was something about the strength of the drink, but the curly-haired blonde was taken about 10 minutes into the past when he first arrived at the bartop. Only then did he remember the beautiful Human brunette that had departed for a chair some time ago.

The poor girl must really be struggling with the chair, as a Jedi Kiegan was obliged to help.

"You ladies seem to be getting on plenty fine well enough." Words not hiding his level of sobriety, probably. "Time for this Jedi to get Jedi something... yeah..." Wasn't sure about that sentence, but it came out how it came out. Standing up with one final wink to Aola Shala to return her own gesture, maybe the pair of them could have something another time.

For now, all that was on Kiegan's mind was Mirellia and her shoulder strap.

Shoving through the crowd it wasn't long before the Hapan found his lady love sitting at the bar, apparently having made a pair of new friends. That was okay, Kiegan enjoyed the competition.

"Oomph" The noise came from the blonde as he hopped into Mirellia's lap, before quickly registering a poured shot in front of her and downing it himself. The world was definitely beginning to become a bit fuzzy by now, a warm feeling in his gut making him happy. Until he realized it was Mire's shot that he stole. "Oh wait that w-" The words came out more slick than apologetic, before turning and smirking at the girl who's leg he was resting on. "Guess I gotta make up to you for that one, eh?"

Aola's lips formed into a mischievous smirk as she jumped off of Kaia's lap and pulled her along for the ride. Noticing Kiegan Lysle Kiegan Lysle 's wink, she would have to remember to return to him if she got the chance later... if she didn't get too drunk to remember anything.

Downing a shot, really feeling the warmth spreading and getting to her head, she started to lead Kaia Starchaser Kaia Starchaser away from the too small of a table for all of them and out to the dance floor. Turning around she looked at Kaia, still having a mischievous look to her, walking backwards as they entered the dancing floor. While it wasn't a club, so the area wasn't terribly crowded, giving the two girls room to dance without bumping into others.

Slowly Aola got into the motion of the familiar dancing routine she so long ago was forced to learn and perform as a slave. But now? It was because she wanted to and felt like letting go with Kaia. As Aola started to sway her hips to the beat, up against Kaia, she placed her Lekkus on the side of the Mirialan's head. Aola also moved Kaia's hands to her hips, while caressing Kaia's cheeks with her Lekkus.

With a flirtatious turn that almost looked like she floated, she locked eyes with Kaia and just started to put on a show for her. With a hand on the Mirialan's shoulder, the light-blue Twi'lek started to slowly dance downwards, letting her hands follow her down. As she swayed herself down along Kaia's body, stroking over Kaia's chest and further down to her hips before swaying up again. When Aola stood upright again, they stood now face to face with only inches apart from each other. Aola's bright purplish-pink iris looked Kaia first deep into her eyes, biting her lower lip, before glancing to the Jedi's lips.

The type of girl to flirt, ish. She knew what she was working with but she had never really been flirted to, more ‘hey, I’m looking for this, lets go.’ All business and matter of fact. But this blue one, she was definitely something else, maybe, Kaia was afraid to even muse it, too much for her. But as she was given another shot to take and all but dragged out to the dance floor by the very attractive Twi’lek, the half-Mirialan could only smile. Biting her lip, she was looking over her new dance partner. And as for it not being a club? Good, Kaia preferred the more quiet places.

Dive bars, and spacer bars. Still, enough dancing, mostly in a line with a box step, not anything she was really a fan of. Albeit being a spacer, she did prefer the more synthetic noises and hard beats of modern core system dance hits. She even had taken the time to learn a few on her own instruments. But this, it was something new and different. Smiling as she stepped closer, almost pulled, but also of her own step, she felt the lekku around her shoulders and held Aola’s hips tight.

Feeling hands on her slim figure, Kaia could feel color rising to her cheeks, and when Aola rose up again and stared at her lips? There was a definite shiver down Kaia’s spin as she couldn’t help but lean in and give the Twi’lek a soft, almost shy, but lingering kiss.
