Intent: Bacta infused with dark side healing, crafted through Sith Magic. For use by non-droid sentient species to recover from grievous or fatal wounding to return to the fight or to buy enough time to flee for proper medical attention.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Classification: Stimulant

Method of Consumption: Injected. While a medic on hand could have multiple stim shots available, only one can be ingested by the recipient.

Average Life: 3 hours

Purpose: When injected, all injuries sustained to the body will begin to extremely rapidly heal. Even from the brink of certain death. It does not heal any damage sustained thereafter.

Allergies: Any individual with allergies to bacta will still react as such. Light and neutrally aligned force users will be bombarded by dark side energy as it heals their bodies. This could damage a Light Side connection to the force, and seduce either alignment toward the Dark Side. Non-Force and Dark Side users do not suffer from this drawback.

Side effects: After 3 hours have passed, the dark side will demand its toll. Like a time bomb, A force wound will be inflicted upon the user of exactly the same amount of damage they’ve recovered from. There is no escape from this price, though the user may enter a bacta tank or report to a medical facility in preparation for the wound to strike.

A single injection is all you need. Taking a second dose before the wound has impacted will cause the dark side to rebound, immediately wounding them without the second dose taking any healing effect whatsoever.
SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
+Freaky Fast: Can revive a fatally wounded individual in 60 seconds, lesser injuries taking less time. As soon as it enters the blood stream condition begins improve.

+Compact: Small, light, easy to store, conceal, and carry.
Weaknesses:
Temporary: The draught only offers temporary, although complete, restoration to the user. After 3 hours the wounds from which they’ve healed will spontaneously return all at once via force wound. There is no escape from the price of the dark side.
DESCRIPTION
Bedrovelse Hevn has committed his life to accumulating the knowledge and power of Sith sorcerers. Among his travels he discovered a variant of force healing performed by practitioners of the dark side. Hevn is not an infallible creature, and found himself limited by the ability by only being able to perform the power upon himself when substantial amounts of pain and agony were available to feed upon, whether his own, or others.

Upon reuniting with Alkor Centaris and finding a small welcome into the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Hevn decided it necessary to prove himself to Darth Metus and the other leaders of the faction that this decision would be to their benefit. It seemed paramount to demonstrate an act of skill befitting his claims to Sith Magic.

Recently taking dominion over Thyferra, Hevn found inspiration in repeating an experiment he had once successfully performed upon Kolto. Infusing it with the dark sides powerful manipulation over the forces of life and death. He found that when he fed the bacta his own pure and concentrated agony, woven with his techniques of essence transference, that a new healing substance was created. One that embodies equivalent exchange. One that accepted his pain as payment in the first steps of a breakthrough in emergency medicine.

The “Draught of Acheron” can restore any and all damage to sentient tissue. Delaying death and prolonging the recipients life long enough to avenge their self upon the enemy, or retreat to medical attention sufficient enough to save their life once the wound returned.

The limits of this healing are boundless. A viceroy suffering a stroke or heart attack could inject himself to buy time to get to a hospital, or someone happening upon this could use it to save them. A soldier could use his final breaths to punch the stimulant in and heal from a fatal shot to take more enemies with him to the grave or retreat to a healer capable of saving him properly.

It is designed to be a last resort tool for Hevn’s new allies, preserving the lives of the members of the CIS. While this may appear a benevolent gesture, his selfish nature truly only desires each life miraculously saved to be a tally in his books for favor and security in his new position.

It’s inherent flaws deter abuse, as attempting would negate the abilities of the substance completely.

You cannot use it on something that is already dead. As soon as the heart stops, the Draught of Acheron will have no effect.
