Affiliation: Kharvaxi, Zavik Maltheris Zavik Maltheris , Mahporeem imperials

Population: Heavy.

Demographics: Predominantly Kharvaxi, the native species of Minrith.

Wealth: High. Draevannis is a major center for weapons, armor, and defensive technology manufacturing, producing equipment for civilian, security, and military applications. Its factories manufacture a wide range of products, including personal weapons, portable shielding systems, protective armor, military equipment, and larger defensive technologies. These industries support extensive commercial activity and trade with buyers throughout the wider galaxy, contributing significantly to Minrith's economy.

Stability: High. Draevannis benefits from established manufacturing industries, extensive infrastructure, and its position within Minrith's broader industrial economy. Its numerous specialized factories provide employment and support surrounding businesses, residential districts, and commercial activity. The city's established institutions and continued demand for its manufactured goods contribute to its economic stability, while its integration into the wider Kharvaxi economy helps sustain its population.

Freedom & Oppression: Draevannis operates under the rule of Queen Eshvara as part of her authority over the Kharvaxi and the wider moon of Minrith. The city's administration oversees its residents, public services, and established industries, while local institutions and businesses continue to operate within Kharvaxi law and governance.

As part of the agreement between Queen Eshvara and Zavik, the native Kharvaxi are protected from forced cybernetic conversion. Draevannis remains under Eshvara's authority and is not governed by Zavik. His authority over the two cities assigned to him under the agreement does not supersede the Queen's rule within Draevannis.

DESCRIPTION

Draevannis is a sprawling urban center distinguished by its varied architecture, busy streets, and extensive manufacturing industries. Buildings throughout the city follow the pale-grey architectural style shared across Minrith, though their shapes, heights, and layouts vary considerably. Towering structures rise above densely packed neighborhoods, while smaller buildings, commercial streets, and open public spaces fill the areas between them. Compared to Minrith's other cities, Draevannis incorporates more vegetation throughout its developed areas, with trees, planted terraces, rooftop gardens, and greenery woven into its urban environment.

The city serves as Minrith's primary center for weapons, armor, and defensive technology manufacturing. Rather than concentrating production within a single industrial district, factories of varying sizes are distributed throughout Draevannis, each specializing in different products and technologies. Facilities manufacture everything from personal blasters and portable shield generators to protective armor, military equipment, and larger defensive systems. Research, development, and testing facilities support these industries, allowing manufacturers to refine existing equipment and develop new technologies for buyers across the wider galaxy.

Despite its industrial importance, Draevannis is not simply a collection of factories. Residential neighborhoods, shops, markets, restaurants, and other businesses occupy the spaces between manufacturing facilities, supporting a substantial civilian population. Busy pedestrian streets and commercial areas give the city an active atmosphere, while public spaces and vegetation provide breaks from its dense urban development. The integration of industry and everyday life allows Draevannis to function as both a major manufacturing center and a place where people live, work, and conduct business.

Draevannis's manufacturing industries contribute significantly to Minrith's economy and defensive capabilities. Its products supply equipment to Kharvaxi security forces and military units, while commercial exports connect the city to buyers throughout the wider galaxy. Its specialization complements the shipbuilding industries of Kethrannis, which focuses on starships and their associated weaponry and shielding systems, as well as the broader technological industries of Vaelkris.

Beyond the developed areas, dense tropical jungle surrounds Draevannis, continuing the natural environment characteristic of Minrith. The city's greenery and varied architecture create a distinctive transition between its bustling urban districts and the surrounding wilderness, preserving a connection to the moon's natural landscape despite its extensive development.

Draevannis remains under the authority of Queen Eshvara, forming part of the wider Kharvaxi realm governed from Aethrava. Its established industries, extensive commercial activity, and contribution to Minrith's defense make it an important part of the moon's economy, complementing the distinct roles of its three fellow cities.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Public Transit Hub

Draevannis is connected to Minrith's other major cities by an underground rail network, allowing residents, workers, and visitors to travel between urban centers without having to cross the dense jungle on the surface. These rail lines form the foundation of the moon's intercity transportation system, connecting its major population centers while leaving the wilderness between them largely undisturbed.

Within Draevannis, an above-ground tram network and other public transport vehicles carry passengers throughout the city's districts. Residents can also travel using their own vehicles or on foot, with the city's transportation infrastructure accommodating all three options. Together, these systems support everyday commuting, commerce, and movement across Draevannis while keeping the city connected to the rest of Minrith.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Draevannis was one of the later cities established on Minrith, founded to meet the growing needs of the Kharvaxi government and military. As the Kharvaxi developed their society and expanded their technological capabilities, maintaining a reliable supply of weapons, armor, and defensive systems became increasingly important. Draevannis was established to fulfill this need, bringing together the facilities and skilled workers required to equip the forces responsible for protecting Minrith and maintaining the authority of its government.

In its earlier years, the city's manufacturing industries primarily served domestic needs. Its factories produced personal weapons, military equipment, protective armor, shielding systems, and other defensive technologies for Kharvaxi security forces and military units. Production focused on reliability, effectiveness, and ensuring that Minrith could supply its own defenders without depending entirely on outside sources.

As Draevannis's industries matured, its manufacturers began producing more equipment than was required for local use. The Kharvaxi recognized an opportunity to sell these products to buyers throughout the wider galaxy, turning Draevannis's established military supply network into a significant commercial industry. Weapons, armor, and defensive technologies gradually became major exports, providing new sources of wealth for the city and strengthening Minrith's connections with other worlds.

This expansion broadened Draevannis's role without changing its original purpose. The city continued to supply the Kharvaxi government and military, while its manufacturers increasingly catered to outside customers, including commercial buyers and other organizations seeking reliable defensive equipment. Its industries diversified, and research and testing facilities developed alongside manufacturing to improve existing products and support new designs.

As the city grew, factories and workshops spread throughout its expanding urban landscape rather than remaining confined to one enormous industrial district. Residential neighborhoods, commercial streets, and public spaces developed alongside manufacturing facilities, creating the dense, active city that exists today. Vegetation also became a more prominent feature of Draevannis's developed areas, with trees, gardens, and planted terraces incorporated into its urban environment.

Draevannis remains under the authority of Queen Eshvara and continues to serve as Minrith's primary center for personal weapons, armor, and defensive technology. Its original responsibility to protect the Kharvaxi remains central to its identity, even as its industries have grown into an important part of Minrith's wider economy and interstellar trade.

SECURITY

Security Rating: High

Security Assets:

Draevannis maintains a strong security presence through its established Kharvaxi security forces, which are responsible for protecting the city's population, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries. As one of Minrith's primary centers for weapons and defensive technology production, the city places considerable importance on safeguarding its facilities and ensuring the continued security of its residents.

Although Zavik does not directly govern Draevannis and has not independently expanded its security infrastructure, he has provided specialized security cyborgs known as Watchers to Queen Eshvara. These units are available for her to deploy throughout Draevannis as she sees fit, supplementing the city's existing security personnel where additional protection is needed.

The city's security remains under Kharvaxi authority, with Eshvara and the relevant local institutions retaining responsibility for its deployment and management. The Watchers serve as an additional security resource rather than a replacement for the city's native forces, allowing Draevannis to maintain its established security arrangements while benefiting from Zavik's contribution.
