Hi hello greetings, if you are reading this then let me just firstly say thanks for having enough interest to take a peep at this. This is my character Adeline, I started doing RP with her ages ago it feels. Over time things went from a vampiric bounty hunter, to then her vampiric connections putting her in a rather occult ritual to imbue her with force powers, becoming an apprentice to everyone's favorite old man

and at the same time keeping good ties with the Eternalist church back when the Sith Order was a much smaller blob on the map.
Over time through rp (and my own fixation on lovecraftian vibes), Adeline became less of just a power hungry mortal that learned the ways of devouring the force from the holocron of Kyrel Ren. During this time she was still young within the Sith Order and began to crave the same level of terror that the man known as "The World Eater." had, it was actually pretty close with me settling this character down as a member of the Ren and trying to mimic the legacy of Kyrel with his personality copied within that holocron to guide her. The time during the brotherhood of the maw was pretty cool and it seemed to hold so many wonderfuly evil characters, but I better continue with what I wanna yap about before I forget.
What is current day Adeline? Well, I suppose you could call her a Sith? Her force hunger had led her to devour a shadowy eldritch being, and after so long of the two fighting I figured why not have them both now be the same being? At times in the past I was never sure how well my little eldritch horror fixation really satisfied others, not even fully sure how well it meshes into Star wars itself but hey this is Chaos.
To those that did find it to be their cup of tea, one example being

who has had many interactions with Adeline (aka Ade) has found those threads to be fun.
Do I expect many people to find an interest in the idea I will get to? Not sure, I mainly just have an itch to do some RP with a character I have had around for a while.
What should you even expect? The focus has always been story of course, but the specifics are illusions, dreams, nightmares turning to reality, raw and primal fear.
So how even is Adeline meant to give off an aura of fear? From day one of this character there was always an emphasis on deception, use forward appearances to mess with the mind. During her time as a mortal she used her Sangnir ability to keep herself looking thinner, softer skin, less outwardly threatning. The goal was never to stun with intimidation, it was to set a trap.
And now? The apperance she takes doesn't look like a monster, it holds some level of uncanny thanks to her doll-like appearance sure. But it is all to simply try to appear weaker, a ploy used by a hunter.
Doll-like is one thing, but why the ears? I enjoy symbolism, same reason I have my other character
Vakhari Lutris
wearing white as opposed to black like most Sith. White is common linked with purity and benevolence, Vakhari makes a mockery of this by wearing a colour normally adorned by those with far better morals. Rabbits but more so specifically hare, tend to have a link with concepts of madness or hysteria (Becoming more popular with media like Alice in wonderland). Another aside from media is the phrase "Down the rabbit hole.", which a lot of the time now is used to describe some internet mystery that keeps going. But it can also be used to describe being trapped in a complex problem where you are dealing with an emotional sprial that is hard to escape from, or another is becoming obsessed with strange and esoteric ideals that you form alternate beliefs.
So what even is the thread idea? Surly there has been enough of me hitting a hard yapachino already ya?
I haven't done anything with this character in ages, and I have decided that she has been away. To where? Well the nether of course, where else would an aspiring eldritch cult starter go? Anyway she used to run an academy on Yalara, slowly eating the planet while she built an undead army. In order to fetch these dead, she would pay people of rather poor morals to basically be a cargo transport for dead bodies. What is something the chaos galaxy has a ton of? Correct. So these barges would go to these many battle sites and scrape up as many dead as they could, forming "Corpse barges" that would then return to Yalara for payment upon delivery.
What if one of these barges was carrying some of that wonderful shadowy eldritch evil associated with Adeline? Perhaps even cultist activity? Something is aboard, and this vessel has been drifting in space for years now. Rarely a ping is let out, acting as a lure for nearby ships so they investigate. Issue is however that once you start following that ping you seem to be trailing it for ages, unsure just how deep you are outside the core.
I had mentioned undead, is this going to be some hack and slash zombie thread? No. I plan on putting some level of action but not zombies.
So what is the threat? Well have you ever wanted your character to face a fear? Perhaps this is the time in their arc that you wanna see their mind shatter? Maybe you would want your character learning more about Adeline's cult and thus offer? Adeline herself (Being a creepy eldritch lich) causes all sorts of nightmares, paranoia, and primal fear. Think of a phobis device, but she can end up leaving lasting effects on an enviroment without meaning to and or without needing to still be around. I have always described her signature in the force to be horrid, stitched together, screaming and reaching out to pull more inside of it.
If you have made it to the end and spent the time to actually read all this, thank you. I am really curious to see if I do grab the attention of enough people. What could be cool is having two teams go against one another, using dice rolls to see who gets around to places on the ship faster. If enough good roles/RP is dished out I might toss in an interesting piece of equipment.
Lastly, I kinda do want to make custom flairs for those who take part. I may not be amazing with photoshop but I have given out flairs to RP partners before.
