Years had passed since Jairdain last visited Alderaan. While her husband had a home here, she still liked her own on Commenor better. Someday, they would have to decide which one would be their primary residence. However, she was not on this planet to see him. Instead, she was here to visit an old friend.
A woman she had met when she was a new Master. A mutual acquaintance had suggested that she find Alex and find out where to search. She was happy to do that and made a good friend out of the trip. A few years later, she had visited again with Krest, another woman, and Alex.
Walking the familiar paths through the lush woods, she followed her intuition on where to find her old friend. A lot had changed for Jairdain, and she could hardly wait to be reunited with Alex.
Approaching without fear, she started to open the ramshackle door and changed her mind. They had met by the river, and she decided to head there first.
