For some reason, all my PM responses get double posted. At first I thought it was just the normal annoying occasional glitch, but it seems to be persistent.

Double posting is often the result of being impatient, and our PM's work much like posts in threads. Once you click the send button there are there little boxes at the top of your screen that will scroll to let you know it's processing.
If at any time you feel that it may not have gone through, copy the desired text and refresh the page. If it went through, it will show as having gone through, if not... just paste and retry.
If, for any reason, you click the button twice you will likely double post without fail.
If that doesn't fix the problem the next time you send a PM, I'm sure Tef or another Administrator will be able to help you. The site can be slow sometimes, and just because it seems like it hasn't gone through doesn't mean it hasn't. Always double check.

tried that last time, but now that I think of it, I have a natural double click so that might be it.

Yeah, any double click will be pretty much guaranteed to send it twice.
