Niamh walked the halls wearing her Navy Lieutenant's uniform. She could have opted for Jedi robes, but she didn't feel like that was appropriate in this situation. Yes, she was a Jedi, but she identified more with the Naval side of herself than she did the Jedi side. Using the Force was great, and she was rather addicted to it, but decorum was important when you were out to secure contracts with one of the largest governments in the galaxy. Teria was dressed in traditional Echani garb, carrying only ceremonial weaponry with blunted edges as she walked beside her charge.
They approached the assigned meeting place. Some time ago, she'd requested a meeting with the chief Republic politician because she knew that going to the top was the best choice. With chief competitors out there, you couldn't afford to go with the petty games. Things had to be done and they had to be done right the first time, which meant she had to focus.
She knocked on the door, waited for it to open, and stepped inside, followed by Teria. A secretary sat looking at them, waiting for introductions to be made. Clearly she didn't have the time to play games with anyone as she didn't even say a word, just watched the two Echani women standing across from her as they stood looking at them.
"Lieutenant Niamh Raste and my attache, Teria Cortus, reporting for a meeting with Mr. Popo."
