The world had no name. No name that the galaxy remembered, anyway. The few who knew of it were long dead, their bodies turned to dust with the those answers. On this world without a name was a temple, built around a mountain. Dozens of kilometers in height and nearly thirty across, the mountain temple stood as a monument to what could be achieved in this galaxy. Despite its original occupants being long dead, the purpose and origin of the temple could be sensed even from orbit. The Dark Side of the Force was overwhelmingly present within the temple, tainting all who stepped onto the world.

Its discovery was one of accident for the Dominion of Shadows. One of the freighters purchased by the Dominion fell out of hyperspace in the system, and a Scion of the Truth on board, an Enforcer of some merit, detected the temple from orbit. Within three days, two Axeol Class Heavy Frigates commanded by the Vorkar, the information gathering and inquisitorial force of the Dominion of Shadows were in orbit. Teams were sent, investigations were made, and slowly this relic of a forgotten time was brought back to the light.

Then it went dark again.

All contact with Dominion forces on the world have been lost. Response teams sent to investigate reported for several hours before they too were lost. With no other options, the commanding officer of the Dominion taskforce sent word back to Icarus requestiong support. The Seer answered. The secret of the temple world was revealed, and a new rescue team was organized. Made up of Dominion members from all walks of life, the rescue team was assembled by the personal choice of the Seer. Each operative special chosen for their talents, their background and their expertise.

Their mission is simple; discover what happened to the Vorkar agents sent into the temple. Find the response teams sent after them. Unearth the truth of what happened on this forgotten world, and bring this threat to the Dominion of Shadows to heel.

WHHHHHTH-TH-TH-TH-TH-TH-TH-OOOOSH

It was the sound that Crysis always imagined whenever she witnessed the collapse of a hyperspace tube. The Truth Heavy Carrier's emergence was intimidating in its own right, and was only heavily reinforced by the other six vessels that exited hyperspace in formation alongside it. Other than the truth, the other of quick note would have been the Arcanius; an intimidating powerhouse in its own right. Of the two vessels, their support hangars would've been already loaded with multiple
Executa class transports, though for this mission many would've been retrofitted to carry more equipment and the like, versus actual people. There was some intention to at the very least set up some lasting fornications on this planet. Mere beats after Kathal's flagship had bore into the airspace five Axeol-Class Heavy Frigates would also enter the scene, engaging a full burn to fill in the gaps between, and around the flagships.

And so it would begin, immediately, after a brief scan of the immediate system, and after a few minutes of sending out a long-range scanner ping, the Truth would fully drop it's shields, beginning a steady outpouring of
Scryer interceptors. The droid-controlled crafts immediately rolling away from the craft and burning at maximum speed towards the planet's surface. The SAN A.I was going to be getting a full workout today. Up until now, it hadn't been used in anything even remotely resembling a warfare theater, but today was different. Within moments, it was keeping track of four hundred Droid-Controlled Interceptors, while also compiling imagery data for the crews aboard any other ships that carried the SAN A.I system. Though, in this regard the Truth was the obvious choice, communications being one of its strengths after all.

Within a few hours, not only would the grounds surrounding the temple be scanned, but roughly 86% of the planet's entire surface would've been cataloged in some fashion, though the information wouldn't have been pure until there were boots on the ground. In essence, the honorable Seer would find that their small, but dedicated fleet while not perfect, was effective, and they only had room to get better. There were still ships missing from the Dominion's total line up, such as Star Destroyers and the like, but that would come... All of it would come.

There was much equipment to set up on the planet, and perhaps even while the operation took place, there could be some surveying for precious metals, and other valuable resources.

Crysis was aboard the Arcanius, idly wondering why she didn't have her own ship yet. Though, also aware she probably wasn't the smartest person in the Dominion of Shadows to be handling a ship capable of delivering nuclear payloads. She knew herself too well to even dream that she wouldn't have used them if she had access. A guilty pleasure Crysis had though, was she had always, always wanted to learn how to fly. Not just fighter planes, but huge ships like her Master's. Though, if it was anything like a speeder bike, fighters, and interceptors were interesting too. One day, when she was a Seeker, she would.

She had been sitting in her huge room, legs folded up under her as she peered out one of the viewports. In this moment, as the ships had left hyperspace, she wasn't even scowling, only looking on in wonder. A new planet? An uncharted one? This was going to be great! She wondered if Finnea was going to show her face. In recent weeks, those two had made up, and in fact Finnea and her had even begun sparring together. Crysis liked that, being able to give her a good knock every now and then. Although, Crysis was also very aware, Finnea was... Getting it. It was slow, but it was unmistakable; she wasn't just smart with books. She just needed to get over that flinch.

As soon as she saw the bays on the Truth opening, the Togruta would get up, already fully dressed, and simply absent her weapons and cloak, she would get both. Clipping her sabers, then sliding her black cloak overhead, using the inlaid twine to tie it taut over her form before briefly pressing her forehead against her doorframe, inhaling a bit, then pressing down on the keypad. She had to go find Kathal and figure out what he wanted her to do for this operation. Though, logically, The Seer would suffice also. Maybe she would get lucky and run into Finnea first; for some reason in the back of Crysis' mind, she wanted to convince Finnea to blitz the objective with just the two of them...

Ah hell, then there was her new... Whatever Crysis was supposed to be calling her. Sister? Battle-sister? Peer? She hadn't seen her yet, but knew her name; Adilya Solveig. She didn't quite like the idea of sharing her Master, but knew how childish it was to even begin putting the will of The Left Handed God above her own pride. All glory to Typhojem. She was in full (indoctrinated) belief of that, and everything that came with it. She would learn to appreciate the other whenever they finally met. Just like her and Finnea had eventually ended up becoming cordial.

Naatai felt a bit odd in the big ship as part of a recovery effort. She wasn’t truly sure what her role was within the Dominion. The one thing she was sure of was that she would do her damnedest to fit in. The Seer held secrets to the great power that Naatai felt within herself. And he had collected a group around him that would use that power to dominate.

The young Chargian had learned a little about the Left-Handed God, Typhojem. More of its existence and that it would guide the way for this group to become something greater. That The Seer was the voice of Typhojem and that the Scions of Truth were the arms and legs of The Seer. She had seen a few shaman within this order, and assumed that this would be where she would fit in, but she would need a guide and The Seer and Kathal could only handle so many at a time.

Whatever her role might end up being someone must have seen potential in her to send her along with this mission. That filled her with pride and Naatai would not let the Dominion down. She didn’t know where they were going, or what was waiting for them. But she knew she had the power within her to make a difference and she prepared her mind to let it out. As she had all her life.
