But how am I to deal with a load of waste dangerous enough where dumping it in a black hole would be a safer disposal method than letting it float in space or burying it on a planet?

I think the problem is that the black hole is currently being used for research purpose, and dumping waste into it would increase the mass and throw off the research and readings and whatnot.

Also - Hazardous waste can cause the black hole to expand in mass, which puts the entire station and all those aboard her in danger.

Edit: [member="Dunames Lopez"], if your hazardous waste is indeed that dangerous. Perhaps I can refer you to the FOEA? First Order Environmental Agency. I'm sure they can help you, but for, now we can contact the First Order Department of Sanitation (FODOS) and see what they can do to assist you in the matter.

Technically... we don't actually know what happens to an object when it passes into a black hole. Any number of things could happen to it. It could immediately vaporize, or end up in an entirely different dimension.

Damn, we're starting to get pretty scientific here. What is this, Star Trek? :p

[member="Ludolf Vaas"] Quantum singularity drives are originally introduced in Star Trek to begin with...

[member="Valessia Brentioch"] Then who is it that I ICly need to reach for the FOEA?
