- Appearance: Brennet Upari is an intimidating individual, standing fairly tall and straight for his age, thanks to his cybernetic implants. His eyes were replaced long ago with optical implants. The breathing apparatus and voice box he has are essential for communication. Upari is usually among his colleagues, and so wears either a white lab coat, or a dark jumpsuit whenever he is required to take action. While his age is fairly advanced, it is difficult to tell at all considering how much of his facial features have been obscured.

- Wealth: Head of the Research & Design department at Holowan Laboratories, Upari lives a very comfortable life. He does not toss credits around frivolously, only using them when needed.

- Skills: Having studied at many institutes and worked on many different engineering projects, Upari is an expert of mechanical design and construction.
- Personality: Those that truly know Upari are aware of his madness. Having contracted a deadly disease midway in his career, Brennet's body began to fall apart over the years, requiring the use of cybernetic implants for his survival. He has grown to see unmodified organics as inferior, even thinking of his droid creations as his own children. Even so, Upari conducts himself in a polite and professional manner, only utilizing his intimidating appearance when it is necessary.
- Weapon of Choice: Blaster pistol, hand to hand combat.
- Combat Function: The doctor hardly ever engages in combat, preferring to have his children do so for him. With the optical and neural implants within his head, Upari is able to transmit commands directly to droids under his authority. He is also able to interface with Holowan security systems, allowing him to monitor certain areas when need be. Once his madness had truly set in, Upari felt obligated to further enhance his body with cybernetic replacements, granting him increased speed, strength and durability to some degree. The majority of his torso and upper limbs have had their skin replaced, a rare cortosis mesh grafted to the doctor's body instead. The mesh is unable to deactivate lightsabers upon contact due to how thin it is, and instead can conduct and redirect low powered bursts of energy, such as a bolt from a blaster pistol. Rapid fire and high powered weaponry can bypass this defense with extreme ease. While he has been altered to increase his offensive capabilities, Upari's advanced age and sickness has left him vulnerable. He is not as strong or fast as the average cyborg, and is unable to exercise his abilities for extended periods of time.
After spending many years attending various universities and institutes, Brennet Upari was seen as a young and promising engineer. His early life had prepared him for the struggles he would face, made to study and perform hands on work alongside his droid mechanic father. Once he had graduated with advanced degrees, Brennet was almost immediately pulled into the wars that raged throughout the galaxy, being recruited as a starship engineer for The New Order. During a journey within deep space he was exposed to an unknown disease that affected his entire body, one that reduced a number of his biological functions next to useless.
While on medical leave for rehabilitation, Upari's mind slowly delved into insanity, as he realized how inferior the humanoid body was. Outfitted with minimum cybernetics at first, Upari was able to make what some would call a recovery, although barred from working within the military for his own safety and those around him. For the next couple of decades Upari worked on his own, having inherited his father's droid repair business once he passed away. Further degeneration of his body required more cybernetic alterations to be applied, as his difficulty with seeing and breathing began to worsen. Early in their war effort, The One Sith happened upon Upari's homeworld, conquering it and offering him a chance of redemption. Military grade cybernetics were applied to his body, providing him with a new view of the world as he began to adjust.
Now capable of functioning better than he had in his youth, Upari was made a field engineer and sent into combat. He learned the basics of marksmanship and melee combat, though found that he hardly ever had to utilize them. He led a fairly successful career, eventually being transferred from the field to manufacturing, where he worked alongside others to create and construct wardroids and weaponry for The One Sith. Once their fall was complete, Upari found himself without a job, unable to reconnect with his Sith contacts, and often shunned for his appearance and past affiliations. That was when he found Holowan Laboratories.
