SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Powerful sensors : night, thermal and infrared vision, built-in sonar, holo-tactical display of the perceived environement
  • Vast reserves : 1,260 litres of fuel for an autonomy of 150 kilometres, along with sufficient ammunitions for a day-long battle without replenishment
STRENGTHS

  • Headquarters meeting room : The 2C Super-heavy Command Tank is occupied by a meeting room large enough to welcome five officers and a tactical map, along with the radio/radar equipement to communicate with the rest of the company and form a coherent offensive force.
  • Rapid-fire : The 2C Super-heavy Command Tank has been equipped with a relatively weak armament for such a hull. However, these few weapons are not to be underestimated as their fire rate is surprising, and much not like the tank's agility or speed.

WEAKNESSES

  • Fragile tracks : Such a hulking monster is exceptionally vulnerable when it comes to maneuvrability. In this particular instance, the tracks are the true weak point of the Super-heavy Tank. If one of the tracks is damaged or broken, the crew would have to exit the safety of the hull to try and repair the vehicle in the midst of the battle, or choose to stay immobilised for an extended period of time, vulnerable to infantry and artillery attacks.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Brutus Holt as part of the effort to create an armoured regiment to serve House Haskler, the 2C was tested on the icy world of Carlac where the prototypes were designed. After correcting the underpowerement the vehicle suffered by mounting the most powerful engine the Anaxsi had at their disposal, the engineer proceeded to test the mastodont on exercise field, where it proved capable of leading companies of lighter tanks if the correct air support was deployed, and sustaining extremely heavy fire thanks to the overly amoured hull. While the tank was designed to fight in first and second line, the armament designed was in fact quite weak for a monster 10 meters long, and Holt decided to equip the tank with an armament much similar to that of the older AT-TE. The mass-driver cannon and the four rotary blaster cannons proved effective against most of the targets presented, and after an extensive duration of testing, it was decided to launch the production of the tanks that would lead the first companies of the armoured regiment.
