Not much time had passed since their first meeting within the Arbor. A short passage between rest and action. He'd been allowed access to a sanctuary and been allowed some sense of quiet and introspection. He did repair his mind as he'd set out to do. However, in doing so, he found an ally in the Sith Lord before him. He found a teacher.

Though, he also suspected that he would find a dangerous adversary on the other side of the man. He reveled in the idea. Going toe to toe with an opponent as powerful as Metus would be... interesting and certainly difficult. A welcome challenge. There, in the courtyard of the sanctuary, at the bottom of the stairs, they stood. Two opposing forces that were soon to be locked in battle. Above, the sky shimmered as a brilliant light show cast by the illusion which hid the structure from mundane sight.

Amnesia found her way to his waiting palm, a pale hand enclosing the dark leather in a firm vice. When he first arrived on the Confederate world of Krant, the elder Sith remarked that the man chose a dangerous place to restore his body and put his mind at ease. Now the young man wondered if the Sith Lord spoke of Krant itself or of himself. He surmised that both options were likely the case. Though the problem of fending against anything the planet would throw his way has been eliminated, the Epicanthix now faced the problem of confronting one far more experienced than he. The ghostly man found comfort in this prospect. Finally, some actual growth.

He opened his eyes, opening himself to the Force, tapping into the power within. A moderate withdrawal from the cesspool of the Darkness. He felt it surge through him and wash over him. His mind sharpened and his limbs prepared to act on the single command that his brain issued out to the rest of his lithe form.

Attack.

For several moments, he forbid himself from moving. Allowed the energy to build and swell as muscles tensed and adrenaline crescendoed inside of his core. The tension reached its peak and then...

A flick of his wrist at the sword began cutting through air as easily as it did flesh. Without warning, the man shot forward, advancing towards Darth Metus with astounding speed for one of his size. In the beginning, fluid movement due to his size was not attainable. It was only through diligent practice that he found unity and precision. Now, speed and lethal agility combined to propel him at a rate which he initially thought impossible.

Simultaneously, he reached out through his Force. Kyrinov channeled his energy to push into the mind of Metus. If this was successful, his swordplay would suffer but if he was able to somehow manipulate the man, he would find an advantage and perhaps an opportunity or two.

He and his companion drew closer. She arched and whizzed through the space between her and the right side of the Sith Lord's neck, looking behead the elder of the pair if he didn't respond in time. The movement could not be reversed into another attack should it fail, the momentum was too great for such a thing to occur. If the sword was not diverted or knocked to the other side, it would be the end of the Sith Lord.
