Deal with it IC, as it should have been dealt with all along. Position as admin or owner of a major faction doesn't give purview to control the story line of others. Even in your own neck of the woods, major factions can't dictate how people should react to things.
Long and short, keep it IC.

Reacting to this isn't on the Corps - somebody came at ATC, and we reacted. This is an issue inside your own house, and as a former Republic FO, I feel for you - but it's also something that needs to be dealt with by in-house authority or if there's no other recourse, Board Staff.

Gen seem to have gone on a loa. But she has herself decided to put an end to the red dawn plot several days days ago. The problem is no longer internal, its how everyone outside keep reacting to it.


The red dawn plot barely took of folks. Gen ooc and ic never got to where she had planned.

Only way that stops this whole situation? Is if we all accept it's place in the story retconning a kark ton of other stuff. Know how that might have been pulled off? I'll give you a hint.... It is NOT by acting like you are in this thread. We have a right to write and act as we want here. We can chose to retcon it. But from the beginning? All you lot have done is order and tell and talk down your noses to those on other sides of this. They teach you in Kindergarten all sort of things about acting like this, and how to get what you want.

Bottom line is? You are going to get a lot farther in this by being nice. By cooperatively telling a story. By working with us. And that starts with giving a little. You don't get to make a list of demands, with no concessions. You have no authority over anyone but those who chose to be in your faction. All I've seen from you is a lot of chest beating and telling us how it is. And so much passive aggression and condescension it is almost amazing. Seriously, this is not the way I expect a Faction Owner to behave. Much less how I expect a grown adult to act (I assume you are one, you've made comments about 'being old' relatively often).

I get where you are coming from, in wanting a thing you didn't plan for, or sanction, and don't like to not be happening. Believe me, I do. Point of the matter is, your 'proof' is not... well... very proofy... In order for it to be, a large portion of the board would have to accept a huge amount of retcon. And that simply isn't going to happen at gunpoint, if you'll forgive the violent imagery in that turn of phrase.

Things happened ICly. You didn't like or sanction them OOCly. You can hit the report post button and let site rules take care of themselves, if you insist on OOC trumping IC. Or you can roll up your sleeves, accept that what is happening is less than ideal, and go 'Ok, so this happened, but it shouldn't have... What can we do together to get this where we want to be, so everyone is happy?'..

Honestly? I'm done replying OOC to Republic writers and Staff on this by and large. Because, by and large, you've all shown an incredible unwillingness to work with people, in any way. So I'll see you lot ICly, because that is what this place is about, and i'm done wasting words trying to get you to understand something you are being willfully ignorant over. Good luck, Republic. I know you are used to get you way, but I think I am right. If I had high ranking character in whatever else faction and pulled something similair, I am pretty sure you would have checked in with appropriate people.

This time folks just started running because it felt good.

Again, if folks keep pressing to RPwhat the GR government does I will have to ask for RP- judge assistance.

Because, no GR government actions to seize control over compaines has bern approved the right channels. This is only wishful thinking.

I'm IN his faction and continuing the story anyway. No one has any authority over fiction except the writer. You can post the word "fact" eighteen thousand times, it doesn't change the actual fact that a lot of people have been in on this since day one and are enjoying themselves immensely. The other actual fact, that there's going to be hell to pay and a lot of cleanup, may be what [member="Mantic Dorn"] is trying to avoid, but honestly, that's what you get when you take the helm. Gird your loins and see where you can help IC. If you continue to treat the players as if they're something you can control, you're going to have a much bigger problem on your hands, because last time I looked there were a lot of other factions on this site to choose from.

I've said from post one, i'm up for working with you guys. I love a good story. But it needs to be a compromise, and a collaboration. Not a set of orders.
