Weight: 1.1 Tons
Color Scheme: Light Grey/ Dark Grey

History: Since his Pirate days Digam has been sketching rough schematics for his armor with the hopes of one day selling them. During those days those hopes were but dreams, but once he made a small life for himself on Dantooine, those hopes became reality. Two problems arose however: One, he needed more money to expand his workshop. Two, no-one was interested in his armor. Digam, being the ever ‘thoughtful’ person that he is, decided to resolve these issues by becoming a bounty hunter. It could work, credits from the bounties would help him expand while using his Armor would provide free advertising in the way of word to mouth.

Armor: The Armor itself is made from the best material available….to someone with little money and a lot of scrap. While it may not use the best material, the craftsmen ship still shines through in some areas. Digam designed the armor to work for him and utilizes some of the modifications in his cybernetics. While this does cut down on the cost of actually investing in the hardware needed, this also means Digam is directly connected to his suit, short-circuit the suit, and chances are you can short-circuit some of Digam’s Cybernetics. The amount of armor on the suit leave it bulky and hard to maneuver in even when it is powered. While this does slow him down, it also means that anything that doesn’t chew through armor is effectively null and void.

Strengths: The Armor benefits from being nearly impervious to all basic ballistics and melee weaponry with few exceptions. The suit is useful in engagements against pirates, thugs, and mercenaries. With the addition of the Flamethrower it’s also quite capable in the use of clearing out close quarters environments. With a few modifications the suit could prove exceedingly valuable when boarding enemy star ships. The Echolocation device proves useful as it is able to provide an up-to-date map of everything in a 200 ft radius. Very useful in identifying the layout of the environment.

Weaknesses: While the amount of armor is useful it also weighs down the suit. Actually unless its powered the suit is effectively just a statue, proving too heavy to move without power. Issues with the design include an exposed fuel canister in the right arm, if that is detonated the damage to the internal components would render the right arm useless. Integrating some of the systems with the cybernetics of the pilot could prove disastrous in the case of an E.M.P, or ION attack. Rendering not only the suit but the cybernetics of the pilot useless. Proper Sound dampening systems have yet to be installed to limit the effects of sound based attacks, in addition counter measures to vision impairing attacks are sadly lacking. Finally the suit has no stealth capabilities, given the purpose of the suit it’s not a great concern, however mobility must be increased so has to able to not be a sitting duck in comparison to other soldiers. While the suit can certainly tank the damage, the armor can only take so much damage before becoming useless. While the echolocation device is able to inform the pilot on the location of an object, it does not identify the object, leaving the pilot to guess. It’s better than going in blind, and can help limit surprise attacks, however a better solution must be found.

Further Note: Avoid light sabers at all costs, in its current state the suit is effectively useless against a Jedi or Sith. Must remedy with future improvements.
