For a lesser opponent, the wind would tear them apart. But for Jonyna, it was an old friend. With a blast of flame, she rocketed into the air, dodging the flying debris wholesale. While normally that would mean she would be blown backwards, she suddenly shifted her orientation, her rocket feet suddenly turning her into a missile heading right through the blinding winds towards Vulpsen himself.

She'd show him, as Liz came out, she let it produce a blinding flash, before suddenly shifting direction to the left, then forward again. slashing at his side to keep him distracted.

"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"
Jonyna had always been one for tricks and gadgets. Her skills and tools created a highly versatile and mobile opponent, a far cry from the hulking behemoths Vulpesen had made his name fighting during his wars against the sith. It presented a challenge of adaptation for the Valde, but one he was eager to take on. Gazing up at her ascent, Vulpesen was forced to issue out a growl as his eyes were dazzled and blinded by the sudden flash of light. Spots swam before him and his eyes clenched to protect themselves from the harsh luminous display.

It was a fine tactic, and it might have taken out any number of foes. But, jedi were trained to fight and move without sight, and while Vulpesen had abandoned that order, he had never forgotten their training. One benefit of his new condition was that he was now forced to read her intention through the force rather than rely on sight which was far more susceptible to her weaving feints. His saber ignited in time to catch her sword as it descended on him, the scream of steel and plasma filling his ears. His eyes remained shut as he moved, pivoting to bring the back end of his saber up in a vicious riposte. "New tricks. Better."
