They have complementary skill sets and personalities and have worked together ever since. Reyal and Dhasias are also lovers.

Background:
Dhasias was born on the Sith World of Korakuma, located near the tip of the Stygian Caldera. Korakuma was a backwater Sith planet with a population of outcasts, former criminals, and non force sensitive Purebloods. She was born to loving parents who saw the gift for the force she had and wanted to hide her from those in the Sith society that would recognize her force aptitude and whisk her off to the Academy on Korriban.
Unfortunately for Korakuma, an ambitious Sith Lord named Cuza took over the planet and established a base of operations on it, cutting off all communications with the rest of the Sith empire. It was then that Cuza was able to enslave and exploit the settlement-sized populace into helping construct temples in his honor. Cuza was also a skilled alchemist who used Korakuma as a means of testing his biochemical weapons and experimentations on the populace. The Dark Council, holding the population of Korakuma in little better esteem than slaves, turned a blind eye. The village Dhasias lived in was sacked and her family enslaved but she managed to flee into the dense jungle wilderness of her world. It is in the imposing mountains and unforgiving jungles of Korakuma that Dhasias learned and honed her expert survival skills and instincts, as well as practice and establish her connection to the dark side without the interference of her fretful parents.
One day when a shuttle landed in the jungle to conduct a patrol, Dhasias snuck on board, disarmed one of the soldiers, waited for the rest to leave the ship and activated the autopilot computer to take her to Korriban. While Dhasias had never felt the call to become a true Sith before, and wanted to become an artist, she wished to one day gain revenge against Cuza and make him pay for his exploitation of her beloved homweorld.
In the Academy, Dhasias was permitted to join a class of students training to be inquisitors. It is in the Academy that Dhasias was forged from a free soul and creative mind into a remorseless killer and deception artist. Over the course of her training, Dhasias had numerous run ins with the brutal overseer of the class, Eki. Overseer Eki was a sadistic trainer who heavily favored the Acolytes who came from the upper echelon of Sith society. The numerous times Eki tried to kill Dhasias in front of fellow Acolytes by making an example of her increased hatred and connection to the dark side and fortitude against force lightning. After numerous journeys into the Valley of the Dark Lords, Dhasias emerged from a clas of 20 as the apprentice to Darth Anagris, who was pleased to have such a killer for a apprentice, and sought to use her sills in his political machinations.
Dhasias spent much of her apprentice years carrying out undercover tasks for Anagris. When Anagris was killed, Dhasias divided her time between the Imperial Reclamation Service and assisting Imperial Intelligence during the infamous Cold War years. It was during this time period that Dhasias ventured into many dark tombs and temples scattered throughout the Sith Empire and traveled far and wide to assassinate targets of interest such as Jedi and Hutts. She also meet Cipher Steve Reyal, and the two accompanied each other on key missions for Imperial Intelligence.
When Dhasias was 22, she finally gained her revenge on Cuza. She was able to use Reyal and Imperial Intelligence to expose Cuza's plans to stage a rebellion against the Empire, a rebellion secretly being lead by a Dark Council member who sought to overthrow the Emperor Vitiate. With the help of I.I, Dhasias managed to manipulate one of Cuza's followers into betraying him to her. Dhasias then shackled Cuza with a force restrictor and feed him to his alchemy created creatures. Although Korakuma was freed, it would be forever scared by Cuza's dark side experimentations and abominations roaming the planet. Her parents had died in slavery.
On an expedition to the Unknown Regions Dhasias was in a stasis chamber healing from severe injuries when her ship was shot down by forces of the Eternal Empire and crashed on an uncharted planet.
Thousands of years later Dhasias has reawakened, and although her force powers have been left in a weakened state from the prolonged stasis, she eagerly awaits to join in the battle against the New Republic.
