BIOGRAPHY
Devi Jyn-Tal was born among the Mikkian people, her motile tendrils marking her as much as her upfront and honest disposition. Discovered by the Jedi Order at a young age, she trained faithfully, though her path soon pulled her away from the Shiraya Temple on Naboo. Mastered with Jedi Master Sei Vsui, a Chalactan Wayseeker, Devi spent her formative years in the Outer Rim and Wild Space, where navigation and survival were her greatest teachers.
By the time she became a Knight, she was more at home among remote colonies and uncharted star lanes than she was in the halls of Theed. Life on the frontier taught her patience, resilience, and the quiet strength of listening before acting. Her heritage as a Mikkian shaped her outlook deeply, giving her a fierce loyalty to kinship and a respect for discipline that matched her Jedi training.
Now recalled to High Republic space, Devi serves with the Jedi Vanguard. She still carries the lessons of the wilderness with her, holding to the belief that the Jedi must be a light not just in the Core, but in every forgotten corner of the galaxy.
