In the treacherous realm of the Dark Side, the Sith Empire cunningly devised their plan to conquer Thisspias, a tranquil world renowned for its vibrant forests and ancient temples. After emerging victorious in the fierce clash at Yavin VI, a small contingent of the undead army received orders from the Sith Emperor himself to infiltrate the system neighboring the Galactic Alliance's borders.

Their objective? To establish a strategic outpost and escalate the Caldera Crisis. As the ominous but small Sith Fleet descended upon Thisspias, its malevolent aura enveloping the once serene planet, the unsuspecting Thisspians braced themselves for a battle they had never anticipated.

The Force-sensitive warriors of the New Jedi Order sensed a disturbance and swiftly gathered to protect Thisspias from the relentless attack of the Sith Empire.

A brave group of knights was dispatched to strike at the very heart of the Sith Leadership, specifically targeting Lord Blepharon , a formidable Givin Sith Lord and influential figure within the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan. The assault was lead personally, in order to insure that the Thisspains' determination would be shattered, allowing the planet to be conquered in the name of the Sith Emperor.

Disturbing news reached the defenders that the undead army had already captured the Blood Monarch, holding them hostage within the esteemed Palace and causing morale to plummet amongst the defenders, who do not risk endangering their leader through a direct assault.

"The New Jedi Order is spread thin across the Galactic Frontier, your hope of rescue is quite out of reach...wouldn't you say?" With a hollow gaze, the Givin Sith Lord, surveyed the Blood Monarch, the most formidable warrior amongst the Thisspians before him. After a fierce battle, he had triumphed over the mighty warrior, afterwards being briefed by a Sith-Imperial Officer. Despite the defenders' brave efforts, the undead army was swiftly conquering each district, just as predicted, leaving resistance in ruins.

"The Jedi Knights would never abandon a people in need, Sith..." A spit in the direction of the Sith Lord and Conqueror before him, one last act of defiance in the face of almost certain death.

It was her first big mission as a Jedi Knight. Dreidi needed to handle a Sith Lord operating in Galactic Alliance space and there was a nervous energy around her. She hadn't really fought a Sith Lord since her attempts to confront Carnifex with her step-father. Someone who had crumbled in the face of the Sith Lord and left Dreidi to fight alone, which had not gone well. Now, now Dreidi was stronger, her skills with Magick were better and she was able to manipulate the Force better as a Jedi. Breathing in deeply, she had offered other Jedi to help her hunt down the Sith Lord but the only response that she got was from Jax. She wasn't keen on it but Jax was a capable warrior and his assistance was going to be irreplaceable.

So that was how she found herself on a ship with her step-father while on route Thisspias.

Dreidi was in the cockpit with Grisial, tapping a talisman that she had made, it was something that was she working on. Attempting to imbue things with Magick, giving her hand at using the techniques to offer protection enhancements and while nothing had proven noteworthy yet. Dreidi was sure that someday she would have this figured out and be able to create something that would offer protection from dangers, maybe something that needed to feed off her Magick in order to do so.

Grisial was snoozing in the co-pilot chair, curled up and looking adorable though Dreidi would never confess to him that he did. It would only increase his growing ego. Something that Dreidi would rather avoid. Tapping away, a bleep from the controls informed Dreidi they were exiting Hyperspace and Dreidi pocketed the talisman and began to prepare them for what would be next.

"Jax! We're coming in, get ready!" Dreidi called out on the comms, she wasn't sure how welcomed their arrival would be and whether they would get a chance to land easily.

Perhaps it was fate that Jax and Dreidi were the only ones who were taking on this mission. This was Dreidi's first mission as a Jedi Knight and she was tasked on taking on a powerful Sith Lord. She tried to find anyone who could help her on this mission but given that the Galactic Alliance has their hands full with the Dark Empire striking from their northern boarders, there weren't many experienced Jedi who could assist Dreidi on this mission. As much as Jax wanted to fight the invading Sith, he also wanted to be more present with his stepdaughter. Dreidi has matured on her own over the years but she still had much to learn.

As much as Jax was a chit stepfather to Dreidi, one of the things that Jax vowed to do when he returned from his self-exile was to be a good parent to her. That meant trusting her especially when facing off against a powerful being. Jax was a Jedi Master, but Dredi was running the show. Jax's job was to be there if Dreidi falls. "She'll be fine," Jax thought. "We'll be fine."

"Got it!" Jax said getting up from his chair. "I sense the target, he's not too far from us. It's like he wants to be found. We need to be cautious."

'Secure the Blood Monarch within the brig" Dragsail swiftly conveyed to the Sith-Imperial Troopers in close proximity, who promptly heeded the order, ensuring the Blood Monarch's secure capture by restraining him with formidable chains, leaving no room for escape at least for the moment.

The sunken eyes shifted away from the defiant figure, gazing down the never-ending corridors of the Palace as the group disappeared from sight. They observed the holographic projection showcasing the city and the districts already under the Sith Empire's dominion.

The resistance was weakening, creating isolated pockets for the undead army to easily conquer. The sound of heavy boots echoed nearby, catching his attention and causing him to look up.

The Sith-Imperial Officer approached, holding a data pad out to the Banker for inspection. "My Lord, we have detected an unknown shuttle coming out of hyperspace," the officer promptly informed.

The Givin Sith Lord swiftly ran through various calculations in his mind, meticulously dissecting and analyzing each possible scenario until he reached a definitive conclusion. It was clear that the Galactic Alliance had dispatched a task force with the intention of either capturing or eliminating him.

The Emperor was unlikely to tolerate failure, and so they would need to deal with the interlopers with haste. "Allow the shuttle through the sith blockade over the planet. and begin arming the SNM Advanced Quad Turbolaser Battery within the courtyard. Fire when they have approached the Palace,"

As the Sith-Imperial Officer respectfully bowed, the Givin Lord spoke with authority. After such command has been relayed to the gunners, Dragsail swiftly navigated through corridors, determined to reach the throne room. It was there that the ultimate clash between the forces of light and darkness would unfold.

As they came out of hyperspace, the blockade was before them. She knew they would have been detected right away but there was a trick to ensure their landing was the safest it could be. Holding onto her crystal on her necklace, Dreidi closed her eyes and touched the top of the ship. Chanting slowly and deliberately, Dreidi connected with Dathomir and knew she was going to tire herself out massively to do this but that was why she brought Jax along with her. The Magick spread out along the ship and caused it to shimmer, warp and then completely vanish. Making the ship completely invisible as they descended to the surface of the planet.

They couldn't delay finding a landing spot and she had put the destination as the palace before she began chanting but it meant that they would be in the thick of it very early on. However, this allowed them to avoid being fired upon when attempting to land. Just as the ship began to land on the grounds, Dreidi's grasp on the spell faded and the ship would shimmer back into view for everyone to see. Dreidi panted deeply and clicked the comms, "we've landed, had to use a lot of Magick and energy to ensure we made it to the ground. So, be wary since there could be a strong force here."

Grisial looked over to Dreidi and she pet his head, "yeah buddy, I was probably overthinking and trying too hard but it was necessary. Otherwise we would have been left vulnerable." She sighed and headed to Jax, nervous about confronting this Sith Lord. She didn't have loads on information on them but she knew it was important.

She needed to arrest him for what happened here.

Jax noticed Dreidi catching her breath his face etched with concern, from what he knows, Dreidi uses magick to fuel her ship. While it probably saved her on fuel, it was clear that it took a toll on her. "I know fuel prices are up now and days," Jax smiled. "But if you can't afford ship fuel come talk to me, I know a couple of people who can give you fuel at half price."

He gave her a wink indicating that he was only joking. In truth, he just wanted Dreidi to relax and stay calm. In a mission like this, the last thing Dreidi needed was to lose her nerve. "We'll be fine Dreidi," Jax said. "Let's get this guy."

In the heart of the Blood Monarch's Palace, the Givin Sith Lord stood in the throne room, surrounded by faint shadows that seemed to whisper his very name, Dragsail Blepharon, Dragsail Blepharon, Dragsail Blepharon they said over and over again in an attempt to ignite the fires of the dark side of the force residing within him.

Hallow eye sockets almost seemed to glow with malevolence, as he gaze out of the palace window, watching storm clouds gather unnaturally above the high walls. The air cracked with energy as they awaited the arrival of the Jedi Strike Team.

With each passing moment, The Givin could feel them coming closer and closer, a sense of destiny pulling them inexorably towards this final confrontation.

Fingers curled around the ornate lightsaber hilt, a weapon forged by his own hand during his time under a jedi master. There was little time for preparation as the foul magics could be sensed far away as unknown to him the ship had managed to break past the turbo laser cannon emplacement.

Moving away from the throne as a single order was issued to the garrison occupying the palace, to not intervene in the fight against the Strike Team.

As the heavy ornate doors creaked open, a gust of wind swept through the room, carrying the scent of rain and determination. Standing before him was none other than two jedi of unknown caliber and skill, having managed to fight their way through the myriad of guards.

"Bold of the New Jedi Council to send only two knights to face me, although you will not be returning to your sheltered high temples." The Givin said with some assurance of his skills and abilities.

She tilted her head to Jax when he mentioned that using Magick to save fuel was not worth it. Confused about what he was talking about, Dreidi was unsure how to respond. "I... Jax, using Magick to fuel a ship would kill me, especially using it to travel at Hyperspace. I used the Magick to just cloak our presence as we descended so they couldn't detect us and shoot us down as we landed." Dreidi shook her head and laughed at the ridiculousness of using her powers to fuel a ship. She would need like 10 of her at their most powerful to do anything that close in terms of the achievement.

Walking through the palace, Dreidi noted that there was a large number of forces blocking their path but there wasn't many of soldiers that could handle a Jedi, fewer still could stand up to the power that a witch of Dathomir could bring. Her abilities to teleport, sinking them into the stone and even twist their minds so they attacked one another, it was simpler to fight them than she had initially though. Entering the main chamber, Dreidi moved forward with her Lightsaber ignited and she walked forward towards the Sith Lord. This was her mission and she needed to demonstrate she was able to handle challenges like this, "I am afraid that your confidence will be your downfall, Blepharon. We are here to arrest you, surrender now and avoid suffering any potential serious injuries." Dreidi stated in a firm tone.

Her golden eyes were steeled with determination and she breathed in deeply, connecting with the Magick to teleport and attack from a surprise angle. It was helpful that Jax was here to ensure draw attention so they could confront this Sith from multiple angles and make it more challenging for him. For now, she didn't move to strike first but she was prepared for anything the Sith did to begin the duel, if he was not going to surrender.

"Oh....." Jax blinked at what Dreidi told him. So she wasn't using Magick to power up her ship, just using it to conceal their presence. "Shows how little I know about magick," Jax chuckled. "You should teach me sometime."

He wondered if Jairdain approved of Dreidi's use of Nightsister magic. They were cut from the same cloth in terms that they don't mind using their Force abilities though Dreidi was more proactive with her swordsmanship. Jax wasn't even sure if Jair was even proficient with the blade. Following Dredi to the main chamber, Jax saw the Sith Lord in front of them and activated his Lightsaber. His blue blade came alive with light and Jax began to allow the Force to flow within him.

"There's no need for you and your people to die," Jax added to the dark lord. "Lay down your weapons and come with us and I guarantee you we'll show mercy."

The Sith Banker's hollow eye sockets were fixed on the mesmerizing sight of two lightsaber blades bursting into life, a bold display of rebellion as the pair gracefully strode beyond the grand doors of the Throne Room to confront him and put a stop to the Sith Empire's incursion.

In line with the principles of the New Jedi Order, they adeptly endeavored to find a peaceful solution, ensuring the safety of innocent bystanders in the Palace vicinity.

However, they were always prepared to employ force if the situation demanded it and so countless scenarios ran through the mind of the Givin about the chances of victory over the individuals before him, unsure of their power and skill level but knowing for certain they weren't at the level of battlemaster as they did not carry such an aura about them.

"Regrettably, I am unable to engage in any form of negotiation or surrender, as I am destined to become a Lord in a rejuvenated Sith Empire, bestowed upon me by the benevolence of His Majesty, Emperor Empyrean." The Sith Lord's mocking tone accompanied the sentence that effortlessly escaped from his grasping maw, while his skeletal hand ignited the crimson blade, creating a striking contrast against the Jedi's radiant weaponry.

Tension filled the air as the room appeared to darken, leaving only the glowing plasma within the electromagnetic field to illuminate the space.

"Fall to cinder and ash!" Gathering the power of the dark side of the force within him, the Lord Blepharon conjured the destructive power of Force Maelstrom, one of his mastered abilities since turning away from the teachings of the Jedi.

As the power conjured, a force bubble would form around his body, concealing and protecting him. Then any loose objects/persons around him would swirl around the bubble, through telekinesis. Finally, the he would devastate the objects by blasting them away with a shock wave of energy accompanied by a surge of Force lightning.

A lesson on Dathomiri Magick and how it worked had been something that Dreidi had thought about doing in the past. But that would have to come later, when she felt more confident in the ways of Magick that she wanted to discuss.

For now, she had to focus on the duel with the Sith Lord. Mentally connected with Grisial, she instructed him to keep back and stay safe, knowing that he would join the fight later if she was struggling and needed his support. Right now, she would be too concerned on his wellbeing to allow him to jump into the fray and fight this Sith.

"Well, you shall enjoy lording over a prison cell back on Coruscant. That's what I am bestowing to you." Dreidi retorted as she didn't like the idea of the Sith believing they held any rights to hold a dictatorship over planets within the Alliance space. That was not going to happen and she was going to ensure that justice was met here with this Sith. The maelstrom of lightning came towards the two of them, Dreidi used this opportunity to vanish into green smoke. Teleporting away from the attack as she trusted Jax to keep himself safe.

Reappearing behind the Sith Lord, Dreidi swung her Lightsaber low as she attempted to slice the legs of the Sith before adjusting the grip on her Lightsaber and struck towards middle portion of Blepharon, using Makashi as her fighting style. It was her preferred fighting style and she was keen to end this sooner than drag a fight out since the more tired she got, the less she could do.

Just once, Jax would like to face a Lightsaber duelist. Given that he is a Lightsaber combatant, It'll be nice to engage a pure blade to blade combat but alas, Jax had to face another Force specialist. "Time to earn hazard pay," Jax mumbled to himself.

"So much for negotiations," a large malestrom was summoned above Jax and Dreidi. Debris hurling towards the two while Blepharon encased himself inside of a Force bubble. Jax sliced and diced each item that was launched towards him calling upon the Force to keep him balanced. He needed to find a way to break that shield though Dredi had an idea.

She teleported behind Blepharon and was about to strike. Jax leapt towards the high ground and grabbed a large boulder midair with the Force and was aiming it at Belphraon. "Come on Driedi," Jax muttered. "Destroy that barrier."

The Givin displayed a rare smile as the overwhelming destructive force of Force Maelstrom, surged forward, poised to overwhelm the Jedi Knights in front of him and eliminate their threat in a single decisive move.

Yet, in the scenario where this formidable show of power proved ineffective, numerous calculations raced through his mind aided by the Borg Construct AJ wrapped around his skull. It showed to him a myriad of efficient ways to vanquish them, whether through the use of the Dark Side of the Force or engaging in a lengthy lightsaber duel.

He comprehended that his proficiency with a lightsaber was quite restricted, thus he would have to surpass them in sheer force endurance. After the dust settled on his end of the room, it appeared that Dreidi Xeraic mysteriously vanished, possibly as a result of the power magicks emanating from her.

The force provided a slight warning, however, it proved insufficient when the lightsaber collided with the force barrier using makashi technique, prompting him to swiftly move to the side as the blade tried to penetrate his defenses.

Knowing that the barrier would not keep up under a prolonged assault from the Jedi Knight, there was little option but to lower it to conserve his strength for a more opportune moment in the engagement.

Glancing over to Jax Thio as they lept through the air with a boulder, reaching out with his unoccupied hand to conjure Force Lightning.

The crimson blade gracefully sliced through the air with his other hand, executing the refined Makashi technique employed by Dreidi Xeraic . In a mesmerizing display of skill, the twin blades clashed repeatedly in a breathtaking dance of combat within a mere fraction of time.

"You are no match for my caculations." - Dragsail, a highly skilled mathematician, exuded an air of confidence as he harnessed the power of the borg technology to assist him in the engagement.

The intensity of their duel only heightened as the Sith Lord subtly altered their timing, introducing a deliberate delay of a quarter of a second between strikes. This strategic maneuver was carefully calculated, aiming to catch the skilled Jedi off guard and gain a crucial advantage in the fast-paced exchange of blows between the two formidable opponents.
