Destruction on Fondor [Protectorate vs. One Sith]

Among the heavy traffic into Fondor, the capital planet of the Omega Protectorate, several dark gray ships dropped into realspace and merged with the traffic flowing into some of the orbital shipyards. Space traffic control gave the greenlight to the ships to continue on their course as if they were on a delivery to Orbital Shipyard 1138. The massive shipyard was in charge of constructing some of the Protectorate's premier ships.

One of the ships that entered the system came to rest in Docking Bay Gamma of the Orbital Shipyard. For the moment, everything seem smooth. The ship was anchored into the hangar and began to power down. As the supervisor of incoming and shipping walked up to the ship, he noticed that things remained unnaturally quiet. The cargo bay did not open - which normally does as soon as the ship is able to while in the hangar in order to increase efficiency.

The supervisor walked up to one of the entrances into the ship after a landing ramp extended from the docking bay. Once he made it to the top, the door opened with a loud hiss. He could not peer inside of the abyssal darkness within it.

Then, a crimson lightsaber blade ignited from within the ship and pierced through his chest. Death was immediate. Then, the supervisor's body was tossed to the side. Darth Apparatus emerged with the lightsaber in his right hand. He looked down upon the shocked workers. Darth Apparatus briskly walked down the short landing ramp - with a heavy breath between each step.

Once at the bottom, Darth Apparatus lifted his lightsaber in the air and bellowed, "For the Fringe!"

Darth Naefas walked out of the ship. Upon his waist was his Sith Sword, that he had formed with Rave Merrill, upon the ship Coldharbour. On his waist were two lightsabers, and on his back was his amphistaff. Needless to say he still had on his trademarked armour and he stopped just behind Darth Apparatus.

It didn't seem like it would make sense for the Fringe to attack the Protectorate, but what did he know of politics? Though the one thing that did bother him was the fact that they simply declared it. In his mind that was silly, but it didn't matter, it was too late and they had begun their attack.

The Sith Lord glanced to his side to see a familiar masked figure. It was Darth Avara, and Naefas inclined his head to him briefly before walking ahead and moving towards the entrance that the supervisor had come from. He knew Darth Avara was beyond him, or nearby, they would wreak havoc together, like they always did. The two of them. Always, Two.

A worker near Darth Apparatus attempted to fleet. Yet, the Sith Lord lunged for the man and swiftly executed him with a slash of his lightsaber. Klaxons began to blaring as red lights blinked all over the orbital shipyard.

Turning to @[member="Darth Naefas"], Darth Apparatus yelled with a voice that pierced the sirens long enough for the fleeing workers to hear, "Secure the docking bay. We'll use this station as a base for the fleet when it arrives."

Then, the Darth turned toward a hallway that lead out of the docking bay and began to walk that way.

@[member="Darth Apparatus"]

He glanced behind him to look at Darth Apparatus as if to acknowledge him, but when he left Darth Naefas looked to the side at Darth Avara. Were they truly going to stay and guard the docking stations? A real Sith did as they pleased, and what he pleased was to kill. There was most definitely different entrances to the Hangar and he decided it was time to find one.

Instead of guarding their supposed base of operations, he brought his holocomm to his lips and contacted @[member="Vinyata Nicashii"], "Secure the docking bay." He said and he walked out of the exit on the far side of the room. The last person to exit before him was sent flying through the doorway as a burning husk. He was going to torch this shipyard.

@[member="Darth Avara"]

At one of the adjacent shipyards another identical shuttle touched not nimbly on one of the landing pads, and was approached by one of the dock hands as the boarding ramp slowly opened. Suddenly the dock hand was swept off his feet and flew towards the hungering darkness of the shuttle's cargo hold, before being violently impaled upon a blade of crimson plasma that appeared from the gloom. The dock hand's impaled corpse was flung needlessly to the side as a robed assailant lunged from the shuttle to cut down another dock hand that had accompanied the first, dispatching him with little effort, but gaining the attention of a pair of patrolling guards nearby. They leveled their rifles at the robed man and fired off a volley of rounds, but with nimble grace and precision they were all deflected away from the man. One of them was reflected directly back at one of the guards, killing him instantly, and in the few seconds it was taking for the other to reload the robed man bounded towards him.

The guard just slammed the clip into the weapon as the sword of hot plasma cut him in twine from shoulder to hip, as before his body even hit the floor the mysterious dark sider was moving. He said nothing as he moved forward, but behind him other Sith began to follow his lead from the shuttle.

He watched his apprentice exit, leaving chaos in his wake. Darth Naefas was a Sith that enjoyed killing, he found amusement in it, pleasure almost. It was a trait of his apprentice that Avara despised heavily. He differed from many Sith. He did not kill needlessly for pleasure, but only when it served his purposes. Those workers that had not been slain were quickly forced to secure the hangar that Avara's allies had taken over. Cannon fodder for their enemies to deal with if they ever tried to enter, and they would hesitate. Darth Avara did not care, for they were merely distractions.

Darth Avara's target was the factories' databanks. He followed his apprentice across to the exit, and made sure he could hear him before he took a sharp left alone toward his destination. "Sabotage or steal their prototypes, Naefas," he said. "Kill anyone who tries to stop you." Avara made his way down the hall, seeing a score of guardsmen scurrying down the halls to stop his advancement. The Sith Lord did not stop walking, and when the troopers fired their blasters, his crimson lightsaber spun from his belt into activation, reflected their shots, and twisted between them in a vicious pirouette. His lightsaber tore through skin, flesh, and bone as the troopers fell to the ground one by one. The last cowered before him, dropping his weapon, but Avara cleaved his head from his shoulders all the same.

There was no room for weakness.

When the first unidentified ship approached the shipyard, inquiries went out. When the first lightsaber was ignited, the entire shipyard was wracked with alarms and was put on lockdown. Engineers and technicians quickly scrambled to their designated evacuation zones and evacuated in escape pods and dropships as soon as capacity was filled. Network access was cut and every console was code-locked with passwords only head administrators knew. Various battle droids emerged from security rooms and stationed themselves at every major junction. Already patrol ships were circling the area, cutting off any additional ships from docking or undocking. The only ships that were allowed through were verified Protectorate ships. At the same time, several Nebulon B9s moved into formation around the station and began activating their gravity well generators, effectively stranding any enemy force on the station.

As the number of personnel on the station continued to dwindle, an iconic Protectorate ship was slowly ambling over to the station. The Starfall was on full-alert and its captain was already in contact with the Lord Protector. "Isolate a single com channel. We'll use that to communicate with the station. Flood every other frequency," Ayden ordered from his office on the planet, though he was already moving to board a dropship bound for his flagship. Sentinel-class cruisers began to do just that. "I want the Fondor Defense Fleet to converge on the shipyard and maintain a minimum distance of one kilometer. Anything that's not got a Protectorate ID is to be shot down and all other craft are to be funneled through one of the trade stations, which should have the hanger locked down and marines posted. Whoever did this is not going to escape."

Orbital Shipyard 1138.
Objective: Protect the Databanks

It was the high pitch squeal of the klaxons overhead that gave out the alarm. Wide blue eyes went scanning over the holovideo feed, her blonde brows furrowing in concern. The Warden had come to a stop on the Orbital Shipyard to gleen over some upgrades for the Aurora, of the kind that would make it a bit easier for the old girl to go on even further stretches out into the black.

Ofax ets burrin tehn, the air is too heavy here, came the thought to the young Corellian, who then gave a quick nod towards the Security officers on deck.

"Secure the perimeter. Lock everything down. No one gets through those reinforced doors." The orbital shipyards at Fondor were not your everyday standard. The former Lady Protector's paranoia had been so great that security had more than tripled on all their assets, and this was only reinforced by the current Lord Protector's reign. As the head of Omega Pyre technologies, he had his reasons to ensure that any prototypes for the Protectorate were kept safe and sound. And away from enemy hands if needed, and if there were any to be protected at this station, then Chloe would do her best to do so.

Around her, the thick layer of reinforced doors came hissing down shut, preventing any outsiders from coming in, with even more protection at the high security ward where she was in. Whoever was attacking the orbital station would find that this would not be an easy fight.

Darth Avara walked down the corridor toward the sector of the shipyard that contained the databanks. No doubt, the place would be well fortified, well protected, and difficult to get past. The Sith Lord enjoyed challenges, and his life would be a lot more dull if there were none around. As the sirens rang out throughout the system, a clear sign to everyone in the station that it was under attack, droids began to pour out of the security room before Avara. His lightsaber hummed low to the ground as the droids came to, and initiated their weapons systems. He hadn't seen these droids before, but he'd see them reduced to scraps of metal.

The dark side guided him as he paced toward the droids, they deployed their flechettes, but that was easily avoided by Avara's impressive acrobatics and agility. It seemed these droids were not made for long range encounters, which suited the Sith just fine. When he came within melee range, they extended their vibroblades and proceeded to engage Darth Avara directly. Droids were fine cannon fodder; they would slow the enemy down, and might even kill those daft enough to be tricked by an AI. Darth Avara was not such a man, and he cut a rather beautiful swathe through the several droids that came to attack him. A brilliant flourish of red ended as quickly as it had begun, and Avara was once more walking toward his target, enemies behind reduced to junk.

The blast doors of the room before him shut closed. Whoever had given the order to seal themselves inside had clearly not anticipated being met with a lightsaber. Still, Avara commended them within his mind for reacting so quickly to a breach. He stopped before the doors, his lightsaber humming, and he pressed himself on the back foot to gain momentum for a thrust. He plunged his saber deep into the thick metal doors, using the entire length of his lightsaber to melt a crude shape through the blast door. He held his saber close, ensuring the lightsaber would cut through all layers to get beyond.

It occurred to the Sith Lord that this might take some time.

He had heard his Master, and yet, he continued to walk. He showed no acknowledgement to his Master when he turned left down the hallway to continue on to the databanks. They would regroup later of course, if neither of them were silly enough to be struck down.

He drew his lightsaber just as he came around the corner to see droids blocking the path, he almost sighed when he ignited the crimson blade to his side. Droids were undeserving of his sith sword.

He started forwards slowly towards them as they released their loads at him. By the time they had been fired, he had already crossed half of the distance to them. He wasn't going to be stopped by droids, and the blur ran forwards, only to leap on the side of the far wall, and sliding along it for a brief moment so that when he wouldn't crash into it hard.

Behind him, the wall was torn apart from the fire that had been shot at him and the wall had probably hit some circuits within the walls because the lights began to flicker slightly. But that was perfectly, he didn't need the Force to see the hulking forms in front of him, and with a quick swipe, he brought his lightsaber through the legs of one of the droids. By the time his opponent could respond, he had already flipped away and was delivering a torrent of force lightning to another droid.

He wasn't about to let himself be held back by droids, and so when he threw his out to them, the bubble of protection formed in front of him, rather than in front of him and when the droids came in close to each other, he brought it around them so that their own weapons would deflect back to them and destroy themselves.

He didn't wait to see the results of his work, though he knew it had worked for he didn't hear any pursuit and he grinned underneath his helmet. He was continuing on his way to where he thought there would be prototypes of ships being built. Or more databanks.

The alarms were raised, and the shipyard was on high alert. It was exactly as they had intended, and soon enough their plan would bear fruit at last. More guards arrived, flanked by hulking battle droids armed with heavy blaster rifles and even a grenade launcher. "Come cretins! Taste the wrath of the Fringe Confederacy!" Kaine snarled as a hailstorm of blaster bolts filled out the space between him and the Protectorate guards, forcing Kaine to take shelter behind some of the machinery filling the shipyards. Kaine reached out with his mind to touch the minds of the organic guards that had gathered at the junction, and began to fill them with absolute fear. The sound of screams and shouting filled the air as the guards turned on each other, each one believing the rest were the enemies that had suddenly sprung up around them. The droids back away as the organics tore themselves apart, but could not comprehend what was going on, and began to forge on ahead without them.

With the guards disposed of, Kaine leaped out from behind his cover and engaged the droids. Utilizing a combination of telekinetic force and his lightsaber, he made short work of them easily enough. Crushing their chassis with the force or cutting them into pieces with his crimson blade, none of the droids could stand up to Kaine's relentless onslaught. Soon enough the junction was filled with the corpses of guards and droids alike, the scent of seared flesh and metal dominating the air. "I do hope they send us some actual competition... otherwise this will be a dull affair."

Darth Nazari stepped out of the inside of a shipping container, light bent around him and the force entirely suppressed within him. The Togruta stepped forth from the metal crate with a sort of saunter, his step almost casual but a fierceness to it. Of course no one could see him move, but it was just how the Sith Lord walked. With quick and silent steps Nazari ran through the cargo hold moving quickly. A phase of something would be seen on camera.

A quick ripple within the light in the air, that ripple was Nazari, moving swiftly through the corridors.

Unlike most of his brothers in the One Sith he preferred to move quickly and quietly, without being seen or heard. It was more efficient than killing and raging through a place, and it was far less of a hassle. Quickly the Togruta made his way to one of the Vents within the aft section of the Cargo bay and with one swift flick of his wrist tore the metal grate off the wall where it stuck.

In one fluid motion Vash slipped into the vent, his somewhat large form bending and contorting to fit the tiny metal shaft.

As the Omega Protectorate began to respond, Darth Apparatus pressed onward. When the battle droids rolled out to confront the threat, the Sith handled them efficiently. As @[member="Darth Avara"] dealt with some of the MK II’s, Darth Apparatus sped toward the MK I’s to dispatch them at close range with his lightsaber.

Darth Apparatus seemed notably slower than his fellow Sith Warriors. Yet, he seemed to possess strength on the level of a highly augmented human. When he approached one of the droids, he quickly grabbed one of its wrists with his left arm and yanked it off balance so it could no longer fire accurately. He then plunged his lightsaber into the droid’s chassis and violently sliced it to pieces.

When the Sith finally reach the blast doors, Darth Apparatus watched as Darth Avara began to work on cutting them.

Turning to his fellow Sith, Darth Apparatus said, “Shield him until he cuts a way into the databanks.

Like @[member="Darth Nazari"], Darth Vindica slipped in via shipping container. Nazari would need all focus off of him, so, as the stronger of the two, Vindica opted to play the part of the diversion. Once exiting his crate and allowing Nazari to get some distance, he uncloaked his signature in the force. The darkness would undoubtably call the attention of the Protectorate force users, what few of them there were. So, he to moved, towards the databanks, calling attention to his presence like a whiny child. He'd gotten Nazari time, what he did with it was what mattered.

Aros followed the master. Using the newly constructed longstaff saber Aros moved to support the master's movements. Having learned to channel the force at a greater proficiency, Aros moved about the droids guarding the ground before them. The white haired golden-eyed fighter was a waltz of death and red glow. As Aros moved to meet the master Aros called out, "Master it is time we removed the rabble and ventured to seek our fortune!" Aros chuckled as he used a force push to smash a droid into his accompanying comrade. Using the longstaff like a spear Aros skewered droids as they moved in an out, while frequently reflecting beams into the surrounding area. Aros could sense the chaos, it was intoxicating- this was what Aros was bred for, as once a Dathomiri witch hunter- Aros sought out prizes amongst the metal.

The hum of a lightsaber cutting through the thick reinforced doors was enough to alarm the Warden, but not to scare her. "Set up a perimeter, " came her next order, while she then went turning towards the databanks. She'd stared down at the face of death a time or two, so she wasn't afraid to die. "Kalahira, give me strength," came her prayer, knowing that if this was her time, then it was the Gods will.

"Start dumping all the files," came her next order, as the protocols for protecting any omegapyre tech that would be at the drive yards dictated so.

"Aye ma'am!" came the reply, while the warden shot pale blue eyes at the door, it would take them a while to get through those doors... but they had no time to waste.

25% data purging...

In the meantime, Chloe closed her eyes, and focused inward through the White Current in the exact same manner her old master, Je'gan, had once taught her. She was by no means an Elder in the White Current, but she could try her best. For now, her focus was to try and immerse herself in the Force, to become hidden within the flowing current. She would become invisible to any who were not adept at the white current, allowing her to at least surprise attack if possible once they opened those doors.

From where Jorus was standing, he couldn't tell if Kaine was alone, and didn't especially care. He might have married another woman, but that was still Chloe fething Blake in here. And Chloe Blake didn't stand alone. Clad in a basic armored space suit, the kind a shipyard worker used, the Lord of Hyperspace hefted his shell gun.

Basaba moved quickly as the attacks int he street came. There was much she needed to do and going about gathering the equipment it all came down to what was being taken with her. The ports were the location but she'd have to get up there with the equipment as her hands went to seeing the weapons while moving. Then she was heading up with another band of soldiers while securing the cloak on her armor, lightly but in each location so the camo effects took place. A quick test of her filtered voice told her what she needed as the ship made it up and Basaba moved letting the lens of her visor flare for a moment The camo cloak a speciality item from Omega made by Sarge was around her beskar'gam as she moved staying low and keeping the movements slow. No real reason to rush just yet, she had a purpose and her crushgaunts clenching when she finally moved and the shoulder cannons swiveled with her helmet. A glare was on her face in an instant when the cloak shut of and she grabbed one of the fringe troopers stabbing him with a knife went into his shoulder and there was a hiss. The quick release as suddenly an inflated section of his skin popped with her kicking him away. The screams shutting out of the audio receptors while her voice came out of the Filtered voice for her. The plated armor obscuring her gender from view while she targeted a second firing off the disruptor to leave a pile of ash. Now she was staring at the Fringers who had come after them and prepared to fight with her beskad and knives.

Objective: Didn't your parents teach you not to hit women?
Like Chloe,Noah had been at the shipyards, getting the Solomon refitted with new weapons, better armor and better engines. But now he here he was walking into the data banks,a old MKI Bolter slung over his back, two HK-45 Heavy Blaster Pistols hanging from the back of his hips, his dual cortosis-weave vibroblades sheathed on his thighs and holding a HK416 Blaster Rifle with a underbarrel GL-203 attached along with a bandoleer of force breaker grenades strapped over the chest plate of his Hekler'Kok RA-1 Ranger Armor. He watched as the soldiers set up a perimeter, setting up E-Webs and OPRC-1's to open up on the Sith if the opened the door. He saw Chloe Blake, the woman who had originally taught him how to be effective at hand to hand combat. He went forward and was about to deliver a friendly hello when he heard a distinctive sound he had heard in many a battle before. "Well, sounds like Jorus is here." Noah stated as he walked new to Chloe and smiled down at her. Of course she would be able to tell from behind the two red eyes of the emotionless helmet he wore with the armor.

Kaine heard the roar of the shell gun as it unloaded it's payload down the corridor at Kaine, the resulting concussive force sending the Sith tumbling back down the direction of the corridor the sheel was fired at. Kaine's body tumbled across the floor, but he plunged his lightsaber into the floor and slid to a stop, and quickly righted himself again. "Finally, something of a challenge." Kaine said through a cackle before suddenly launching off from the ground in a powerful lunge in the general vicinity where Jorus was standing with his shell gun, his lightsaber held up in a defense stance as he approached. "I wondered where you ran off to Jorus, is your lover here as well? I'd love to flay her alive with you as witness."
