In the times leading up to the Great Hyperspace War, an ancient Sith Lord named Akhuul Sautra had a scheme to cheat death. Many other Sith Lords have tried to do the same to varying degrees of success or utter failure. However, Akhuul not only planned to have himself live forever, but to have his apprentices, and all his subjects be transformed into immortal and ever loyal servants to serve him for eternity. His plan came to fruition when the scientists and alchemists of his estate found a way to make the Derumic Android. From there, he had his body fashioned to be stronger than the others, and to convey his regal nature as a Sith Lord in the android form. As a result, the android to house his spirit was unique compared to all the other models of Derumic Android in the heirarchy. The runes carved into it are unique only to Akhuul. They are inscribed in the language of the Ancient Sith, and have allowed him to retain more of his forcepower from the tranferrance, making him the strongest in the force out of all the other Derumic Androids that are still force sensitive.
Since the Great Hyperspace War, when Akhuul was chased out of Sith Space by his rivals Naga Sadau and Ludo Kressh, the technology of Derumic Androids as a whole have been kept hidden from the galaxy, including from fellow Sith. In particular, the technology for Akhuul's android body has been hidden from the rest of the galaxy. It is nigh impossible for this technology to be replicated due to the lack of usable Derumium on Sautra Vokh, and the unique craftsmenship that went into producing it. The only way for anyone aside from Akhuul to use this technology is to either strip the android body of Akhuul's spirit's possession of it, or to find some way to bind Akhuul to their will. Otherwise, it will be used by Akhuul only, and to further his plans to outlive all Sith, and enemies of the Sith.
